Jeff's place was exactly what we were looking for. Within 15 minutes driving from the Indiana Dunes, pet friendly, and walking distance to town. Very low-key neighborhood when we visited. It is close enough to the train crossing that you can hear the trains when it's otherwise quiet, but it did not bother us, and we slept with no issues. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place. bigger than expected but not as close to downtown as we hoped. not a deal breaker but neighborhood was a little run down. Looks like it's coming back though! We had a really good time and we're able to enjoy the wonderful little town of Valpo and see our daughter's last home basketball game! Would recommend this place and will stay again!

Grandad and small kids loved it. Great place to visit dunes. Wife is more of a Marriott person and it is not that type of place. Host was super responsive and friendly. Close to everything. The only small negatives was that we are not used to the sulfur smelling water and a little musty smelling (opening a window fixed that).

It is wonderful that you have so many things for our little ones. You have a very well-stocked and clean house. We have enjoyed staying here!

Very nice home. You can tell a lot of care went into making sure it has everything one would need when staying there. Host was very good at communication and making sure I knew they were available if I needed anything. Would recommend 100%!

The place was beautiful and everything we wanted for a quiet weekend with family and friends. When we drove up it was hard to find the place because there was no sign with the address posted anywhere. It was getting dark when we got there so we had a hard time finding the entry. There were not enough dish rags and cooking utensils provided by the host, so we had to go buy additional that we needed for the weekend. The property should be updated with additional security measures for the patio railings. We did not make much of use of the patio because we were concerned that our dog could fall off of the low bench that was in place of the railing, and it was overlooking the ground floor patio. Access to the beach in the instruction was very close, only an 8-minute walk, however, there were some very steep stairs going down to the beach. We took the alternate route to the beach the next day, which was better. Overall a good experience.

This was the most perfect weekend getaway! My family loved staying with our dogs in this home! Ryan is a great host!

My stay at this Airbnb was a delightful experience! The space was impeccably clean, comfortable, and had everything needed for a relaxing stay. The peaceful setting made it a perfect getaway, while still being conveniently located near local spots. Thoughtful details throughout the property added to the charm. I’d gladly book again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Valparaiso!

Very nice little cabin, quiet & peaceful I enjoyed my stay. The water does smell like sulfur so anyone who is sensitive to smells might need to be aware.

Emily is a fantastic host. Anything I needed during my stay, her or her husband were right there to assist with. She was very responsive & accommodating to all my needs. Everything was close more than enough room . Close to Chicago about a hour. Most definitely getting it again.

Basilio escorted us right to the lot and gave us the information we needed. The space was a perfect stay for two adults and three preteens. We enjoyed the fire pit and provided wood, which was a nice amenity. They also provided ample lawn furniture, so we didn’t even need to get our bag chairs out of the car. The camper was clean and put together, everything matched the description - however I would plan to bring more cooking basics (think, pots/pans, baking sheets) if you plan to cook inside. We utilized the microwave which also works as an air fryer, and the fire pit to cook, so it did not affect the quality of our stay. There were extra blankets & pillows, and towels provided. Along with trash bags & toilet paper. Campground is peaceful and quiet, and there are restaurants/grocery stores within 10-15 minute drive. The location near to the Indiana National Dunes was convenient, as well. Overall, I would recommend a stay here to any family looking for a laid back vacation.

The Denali loft was superb! It was stylish, comfortable, private, pleasant in rain and shine!!! Our hosts provided breakfast baskets to the loft so we could sleep in, along with every necessary amenity. This was a perfect respite place from long work hours. We enjoyed a day at Lake Michigan and a day in Chicago (taking the South Shore Train). Dinners at Ivy’s Bohemian House and Lucrezian Cafe were VERY happy surprises! We would definitely recommend Vicki and Doug’s hospitality. Bailey the Hound came up to say goodbye💕.

We had a great stay!! The house was perfect for the five of us and our dog, with enough space for all of us to feel comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The pool was the best part! Melissa was super prompt when it seemed like the heat to the pool wasn’t running and we were back in there in no time - the heated water was perfect for this fall weather! We also tried some of the recommended spots and overall, this was exactly the quick getaway we needed!

Stayed for 2 nights wish we were able to stay longer.

Michelle’s place is the perfect spot to stay in downtown Valpo - walkable to everything and has everything I could possibly need for my stay. I’ll definitely be staying here again next time I visit!

Robert’s place is just the best — honestly it was better than expected! My son and I had just the best most relaxing time💕 it was so quiet and peaceful and beautiful! The trails Robert has carved out the around the property are really nice.. I loved being able to get up early to walk with the dogs and enjoy the natural landscape without venturing too far from my little one. Also we love Love LOVED the visits from Mike (Roberts pup) he was a great playmate for our younger dog so our older dog got a break! Also Robert was easy to communicate with and very attentive host — and our dogs loved him esp because they got treats :) Very pet friendly and relaxing — and so close to one of the best National Parks! I seriously can’t say enough good things — am looking forward to staying here again :)

This was ur second stay at Andrew’s and it didn’t disappoint. He worked with us last minute to make a reservation so we had somewhere to stay. A friend of ours passed away and we didn’t have a lot of planning time. We love that the place has a pack n play, high chair, and some kids toys & dishes. Things like that make a stay with children much smoother. Thanks again for another great experience.

We booked this house for only 1 night at the last minute for 6 adults and 6 children who were in town to attend their grandmother's / great-grandmother's funeral the next day. It was a nice place for the family to gather and support each other at a stressful time.

We were very thankful for a quiet and clean place to lay our heads during our trip. It met our needs.
