Very clean place and great area there's lots to do would stay again!!

Another wonderful stay at Mari-Beth's! I always feel so comfortable at her Chesterton Charmer after a long day. Love that the location blends easy access to so many activities while also allowing some peace and tranquility. I would recommend staying here to anyone!

Nice private, quiet place to stay. Stayed longer term due to construction job in the area. Diana was very accommodating and cleaned every week. Did linens, removed trash, provided snacks, water, coffee, etc. Very friendly and flexible. This place works well for me as a construction worker.

The space was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, making it feel like a home away from home. The drive to get there was absolutely lovely—scenic and peaceful, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Local food places were with 15 minutes and the hour drive to Chicago was not bad. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again! The communication with Mark was incredible very responsive and helpful.

Wonderful retreat place to slowdown, meditate, soak on the view and relax. I felt right at home; welcoming atmosphere, clean, quiet and safe. I appreciated the little details around the house; coffee, tea, wine, toiletries. Can’t wait to come back during summer. I will def recommend it to anyone, couples, families, and solo travelers like myself.

Grandad and small kids loved it. Great place to visit dunes. Wife is more of a Marriott person and it is not that type of place. Host was super responsive and friendly. Close to everything. The only small negatives was that we are not used to the sulfur smelling water and a little musty smelling (opening a window fixed that).

We stayed in Kayla’s house with our 2 small kids for 2 months, and we really felt like at home. She is an amazing host. She made sure that we were comfortable at all times, always offering her help and support. Before arriving, she recommended activities to do with the kids, and even bought some age appropriate toys. Upon arrivals eggs from her own chickens were waiting for us in the fridge. She called somebody to come over and clean our pathway from snow (without us asking) and even brought herself a sled for our oldest to enjoy the snow. We could not have asked for more, really 😊 The house is great, spacious, and cozy. We fell in love with the master bedroom and bathtub. And got to enjoy the garden and the patio during the sunny days. In summary, we could not have chosen better! Totally recommended

Cozy, pristine little house and grounds. Neighbor and neighborhood in general could use some TLC. Absolutely LOVED the town.

We had such a great stay earlier this month, so we decided to come back for the long weekend ! Thanks again Lori for a wonderful stay in your lovely home and being a great host - we look forward to coming back again !

A hidden gem! Perfect hideaway for city and country folks alike.

my mum and dad needed somewhere to stay for six weeks while the visited for my wedding. we found this place and thought perfect with the lake as my dad's been a fisherman for over 40years. didn't realize quite how beautiful and close the lake was. the neighbors next to us were also very friendly and always spoke to us when they saw us. The property was absolutely perfect as we was able to visit with them as one big family. everything was just as described. the hosts were very responsive and when I did message them I always had a reply within an hour or two. everything you need is within a 10 minute drive into portage. you can also get food delivered to the Airbnb. there is a hospital within 10 minutes also in case you need it. if you would like to go to a bigger shopping area Merrillville is only a 20 minute drive. the beach is also very close there is two one is in a nature reserve and one that's a little further with a car park only feet from the beach. we will definitely be staying

This place is a gem! Great location, very safe, cozy atmosphere, lots to do! Treat yourself and book this condo - it's so wonderful!

Kristin’s place was incredible! Super clean, beautiful decor and I booked for the same day, snd she answered within 15 minutes. I switched to another condo in the same complex, but felt like hers had more amenities. Especially the timer coffee pot! What a treat it was to have fresh coffee when I got up. Coffee was there, along with creamer. It sounds simple, but it’s the attention to detail that made me love her place even more.

Great stay! So clean, comfortable, and looked just like the pictures. Easy to find and get in, clear instructions. Loved it!

Joel’s place is a very rare and stunning place! We felt right at home with classy decor, spotless, and luxury linens. I would recommend to anyone to stay here to have a relaxing few days away. The view and accommodations were just perfect! We can’t wait to come back and stay there again!
