Stayed here for the weekend on a ski trip ! This place was awesome for our group, had 3 bedrooms and a full kitchen, good size living room with 2 bathrooms! The pool would be awesome in the summer, beautiful view & definitely a good value for the cost. Would stay again !

We stayed at Brent’s place for two days and everyone loved it. The views were stunning and we had a great time despite the cold. We even went kayaking when the sun came out. The rooms and bathroom were clean and we enjoyed the large windows with scenic views. Though the pool was closed for the season, the cozy gazebo made up for it and we spent most of our time there though we could only use it once due to rain and cold. Big thanks to Brent for being a responsive and kind host! One suggestion: Placing the jacuzzi under a covered deck/ retractable shade, so it can be enjoyed even in the rain while still have an ability to rub under the night sky.

Lovely condo. Had everything. Conveniently located. Beautiful view. Several outdoor seating areas which we loved. We would highly recommend this to anyone!

I’ve stayed at Donalda’s many times. It’s my go to place while staying in Port Hawkesbury. The place is always pristine and a home away from home!

This was a perfect week long retreat for our summer vacation. We spent most of our time enjoying the kitchen, screened in porch, and the pool! Just a short trip to town, it’s easy to get groceries and the kitchen in well equipped for cooking! We were in the pool everyday and felt so relaxed and at ease in the beautiful home and peaceful scenery! Peter, who stopped by mid-week was lovely and helpful. Completely recommend for a week away!

This is a great place to relax! Extremely quiet, spectacular view and plenty of space for a family of 4 to 6 to spread out and chill. The private beach is a nice added touch and Baddeck is only a 2 minute drive, but I wouldn’t walk there, cars drive a little fast down that road and there’s no sidewalk. Tyler was a great host, explained everything perfectly, right down to recommending water shoes for the private beach ( which we had). There’s also a nice listing of local places and lots of brochures so you can find stuff to do. It was ~25 degrees when we stayed and it gets nice and cool at night so not having A/C isn’t a problem. There are so many windows that open in so many directions, you’ll catch a breeze.

John and Willemijn were very accommodating, respond very quickly and were helpful mentioning extra tips about the town. Place was super cute and cozy! Loved my stay!

fantastic place, beautiful and spacious house, we were 2 families with 5 adults and 1 kid and the house was more than enough for us, ample of bathrooms add to the comfort for people visiting as a group.

Cody’s Airbnb is a great accommodation for larger families. Everything we needed and more was available within the house. Walking distance and wheelchair accessible to sandy beach. Location is spectacular, bring your binoculars for a closer view of Port Hood Island and finish the night with a bonfire or star gazing from the balcony.

We spent the night at Angie’s to celebrate my mom’s 70th birthday, the home is welcoming, comfortable and close to the beautiful Inverness beach! We had a lovely time together

This home is truly amazing, a well laid out cottage with excellent views. It is very well stocked with games, books, movies, kitchen appliances, etc. Clean & cozy accommodations, the record player & woodstove were a hit & well used and spending time at the beach was what memories of made of. We could have stayed for much longer & would not have run out of things to do. Communication with Lori was very easy. We would highly recommend this home to anyone who is hoping to get away & relax.

Picturesque accommodations that were spacious, very clean and totally relaxing. Although it was “in the woods”; it was easy to find and had ample parking. Warm temperatures and sunny skies allowed us to take full advantage of its location - so near to Baddeck and The Cabot Trail. The owner lives on the property and was able to respond very quickly to requests.

Despite the house being so old it was clean and nice. It was decorated in chicken/bee theme, and included plenty of fun activities and amenities (hot tub, fire pit, indoor/outdoor games, BBQ, etc.). Ashley was very friendly and super easy to communicate with. Even the fresh farm eggs in the fridge felt like a nice bonus. If you are looking for a peaceful time outside of the city - it is definitely a great choice! Thank you Ashley!

Set in quaint harbor front location, this property was perfect for us. The mowed trails outback as just what we needed to stretch our legs and give the pups a run as well. The house itself was cozy and everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.

This is a magical location. Extremely private with terrific ocean front. A perfect view of Sea Wolf Island National Refuge. Lots of birds with eagles seen ever day. You'll have miles of beach to explore -never saw another person. The amenities are true luxury. Everything you would ever need to prepare meals was there. Andrew was a perfect host.

The house is modern and lovely with large windows and a deck looking out on the water. The house is large and filled with light, it’s clean and attractive and comfortable. The host John is highly responsive, answers all questions very quickly. It is 1 mile from town which makes it very convenient, and it is also very private and quiet.

Our friend group of 14 had a great time at Sheena and Bryce's beautiful house. The spacious living room was perfect to play boardgames. The kitchen was perfectly equipped to cook for our big group too. The place is very quieted and very conveniently located to be close enough to do day trips to the Cabot trail. We would love to come back.

There are so many incredible things to say about this property. When you arrive, you drive down a long enchanting, winding driveway carved into the forest, that leads to this truly unique home and of course, that stunning view. The photos do not do this place justice. We were surprised to see that there were no other houses in sight which made it feel even more remote. It was exactly the feeling that we were hoping for. We rented the space to spend time writing and it was absolutely perfect. The master bed was insanely comfortable and waking up to that ocean view every morning was just awesome. We both felt very well rested and inspired. I loved the AGA stove - it added this extra charm to the experience (so did the kitchen space overall - it is seriously well-stocked). Everything from the wood burning fireplace to the walks on the beach to the flatware. We just loved it. It was so peaceful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great spot. Very comfy/cosy and has everything you need. The house is very close to the road but there’s not a lot of traffic on that road. Jade was excellent to deal with. We had a great stay.

Es wahr einfach wunderbar! Sehr sauber und es wahr alles da was man braucht! Sogar Waschtabs für die Wäsche! Wir wahren zwei Wochen unterwegs und wollten uns eine gemütliche ruhige bleibe gönnen! Die Erwartungen haben sich übertroffen! Nick wahr immer erreichbar und hat und per Nachricht alles gut erklärt! Hat auch zwischendurch nachgefragt ob alles gut sei. Was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Immer wieder gern!

I had a group of four families (with young children) stay at both the eagle and the sun house. The houses were very clean and spacious. We had plenty of room for our group and even had multiple unused bedrooms. The view is spectacular from both houses - especially the sun house. The pictures don’t do it justice. There’s no air conditioning in the houses, but we were kept cool by opening the windows and using the many fans that were provided in the rooms. It was fine during our stay, but I could imagine the upstairs rooms may get stuffy if you happen to visit during a particularly warm period. There’s a walk down the hill to the beach on the lake, and the beach is rocky so don’t expect to bring young kids swimming. Even if you’re feeling adventurous you’ll need water shoes to get around. Overall a great experience and a good way for a large group to visit Cape Breton
