We are blessed with no light pollution and the night skies are amazing and we enjoy an abundance of wildlife with curlews , hedgehogs , bats to name but a few.

It has a spring-fed natural pond (ideal for a bracing dip), a king size bed, plenty of hot water and reliable wifi. It's lovely up here this time of year with huge flocks of starlings, redwings and fieldfares, owls at night and deer coming to the woods' edge on early frosty mornings.

The lodge

A newly renovated cottage attached to the barns of the main hall , with private parking and your own access. It is a perfect base for dog and hill walking. The lodge is surrounded by the fabulous Shropshire hills, a 5 minute walk to the nearest pub yet just 20 minute away from the centre of Shrewsbury. There is a private seating area outside the front of the lodge and access to the pony paddocks of you have a dog that needs a run around! Sports massage available next door on request !

Enchmarsh Farm barn

Small barn in the midst of a working Dairy and sheep farm right next to our home with fabulous walks all around. Double bed with small shower room and mini kitchen area in the corner of the room. Ideal as walking base or base when working in the area. Good parking just outside the barn - vehicles can be left whilst you walk the glorious hills around. Cooked breakfast available in the dining room in the farmhouse for £10 per person - includes the choice of sausage, bacon, eggs etc.
