Angelique’s place was a dream! We arrived at night to the melodic sounds of the coquis. The view in the morning was indescribably breathtaking. It felt like we were on top of the world. The photos do it no justice, truly. The hike to the river was beautiful and slightly challenging. In some spots it was slippery or had loose rocks. Be sure to wear hiking shoes and that each step is firmly planted. It was easy to follow though due to how well it was marked. I fell once, but I always fall 😂😂. The bruising was completely worth it to swim in such a pristine and private river and swimming holes. The house is perfect for that authentic experience of living in the montes. Just ensure you know what you’re getting into. Take everything you need before you get there as it’s a ghost town (even up to 40 mins away) after 7 pm, and most places aren’t even open until Saturday. The privacy and seclusion that allowed us to unplug and just be present. 10/10 would recommend and come again.

If you’re looking for a private, comfortable place that can handle a larger group and you want stunningly beautiful scenery, this is the place. The patio and balcony are incredible. Plenty of seating and an outdoor kitchen, looking out over the mountains and even all the way to the ocean. A view you have to see to believe.

He's not kidding when he says it's cozy... Place is very small, but it had everything we needed. No kitchen, but there was a mini fridge and microwave and a sink in the bathroom. Shower was good. Quiet spot in the back yard of the house with separate side entrance behind a locking gate. Felt safe and secluded.

Edgar and Linda were great hosts. They very very attentive and responsive. The cottage was perfect for our 2 night stay. We wanted to explore Ponce and visit La Guancha to see the Hector lavoe statue. We went to Lucas Bar and grill and had the most delicious chicken wings! The Costanera restaurant was a nice place to have yummy food too. We fell in love with Playa Santa in Quanica. Must see! We wound definitely consider returning and staying at the cottage again. Loved this stay! First time in Ponce and if I return I will always choose here. The apartment is great, everything you need is available. Great communication with the host. Cold ac and ceiling fan. Decor is beautiful just like I would use in my own home. House feels welcoming, clean bathroom and nice quiet neighborhood. Radames is a wonderful host.

Great stay!! Nice private apartment. Great patio space. Peaceful patio. Clean and comfortable space equipped with everything we needed. Great location, close to everything but not in the middle of everything. Armando was very attentive and responded to everything super fast. Would definitely come back.

This place was a peaceful location. It was quiet and transformed into another space entirely. We loved the tub and just laid in it for hours in the sun and the rain. It was the definition of relaxing. If we are able to afford it in the future we would stay longer!
