The location of this home in Kingston is just breathtaking. The lake, the mountains, the quaint little town -- all of it is perfect. It is a 45-ish minute drive from Queenstown, but that was a plus for us as we had day trips planned to Milford Sound and Invercargill. Plus, the drive to Queenstown is so beautiful. The house was very clean and cozy. We made ample use of the washing machine (which conveniently has a dryer option as well). I would highly recommend a stay at Ian's.

Secluded Yet So Close – Perfect Getaway! Our stay at Krissy’s place was absolutely wonderful. It truly felt like a hidden gem - secluded and peaceful, offering the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle, yet still conveniently close to town and the beach. We loved the tranquility of the location, and it was the ideal spot to come back to relax and unwind. The space was beautifully designed, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We stayed here prior to a cruise on Doubtful Sound. Very comfortable rural setting on a farm for two couples. A dozen farm eggs for us in the fridge, making for a nice meal of omelets, combined with some extras purchased at nearby Four Square. Plenty of cereals and yogurt. Highly recommended.

The cottage is part of a working vineyard, and one finds serenity and feels restful. It is exactly as described. Jen was a wonderful and thoughtful host -- she was responsive, esp. when we brought to her attention small glitches that are bound to happen despite the best of intentions, and she promptly help us to take care of the small glitches and even added a surprising personal touch to make our stay that much more enjoyable. We had a wonderful stay; we got to explore the Central Otago wineries, and got to enjoy the sunset at the cottage sitting on the porch in the back. Jen's cottage is between Alexandra and Clyde, and within short driving distance to some great wineries and to other parts of Central Otago. I find Alexandra an easy and pleasant city to shop for produce if needed. I look forward to staying with Jen again if I visit Central Otago in the future.

This was our second long stay at Ida Cottage. It is in the right location for anything in Lumsden, is quiet, peaceful; up to date and perfectly clean and functional. Duncan is flexible and eager to help in any ways.

Margaret was incredibly accommodating and communicated well. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The house was clean and any issue was dealt with immediately. Thank you for a great stay!

We had two nights and everything was as outlined as expected. Great little loft just outside Alexandra set amongst pine trees. Very unique property and would recommend!

Amazing accommodation, such beautiful surroundings. The house had everything we needed, it was very warm and comfortable. Would love to stay again. So much to do in the Catlins area and the little town of Owaka was a short drive with everything you could need. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️
