A wonderful experience overall. Very unique location. Very open to the wonderful Hawaiian nature. Highly recommend to those looking for something secluded and off the beaten path. Excellent, friendly host.

Beautiful home, was exactly as pictured and had everything we needed for our stay!

Talk about an absolutely beautiful area with a cute little cottage to add the cherry on the cake. The cottage had ample space, privacy, and true character. Being able to listen to the coquis sing at night was music to my ears. Having the black sand beach nearby was also an amazing addition. I would 10/10 stay here again.

What an oasis! Lush, private, & peaceful. A favorite was picking fresh guava for breakfast! Eve was attentive but not over bearing, kind and hospitable. We really felt like we could explore and enjoy the entire grounds. And the sanctuary next door was simply beautiful and a quick walk away. You can even buy an “over the top” fresh exotic flower bouquet for $18!! We grilled out on the back patio and soaked it all in . We’d definitely recommend this get-away!

We loved our stay at this quaint little place right outside the Hawai’i Volcanoes NP. It is a tastefully designed place with all necessary amenities. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, making it a perfect romantic getaway!

This place is awesome! Karen and Ron are so kind and have built/designed this place with such passion! It’s darling! Note that it does have open spaces to the elements as noted. You may be in the company of a gecko or spider- but being in Hawaii, you encounter the same all over. We did not have issues with mosquitoes at all. The serenity you feel at this place is beyond anything! Steps from Manini and kayak rentals is convenient- and totally shouldn’t be missed. Ron and Karen are super friendly and attentive and gave us a bunch of things to do. Morning coffee on the porch or a sunrise walk to the beach- nothing better! This place is a gem!

Wonderful hosts, great communication. Heidi went above and beyond even helping us with a ride to the trailhead for our Na Poli Coast hike! Sweet place as base camp for several days with lovely lanai, outdoor shower. Beautiful view.

Everything was great and convenient! We loved our stay in the lovely cabin, clean and cosy. The hot outdoor shower was amazing, the nature sounds very peaceful. We loved having Domino coming to say hi! Would 100% recommend :)

Ein absolut traumhafter Aufenthalt! Das Ferienhaus liegt mitten in der Natur und bietet eine wunderbare Ruhe – morgens wird man vom Zwitschern der Vögel geweckt. Alles ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, was eine sehr gemütliche und einladende Atmosphäre schafft. Besonders genossen haben wir die Badewanne auf dem Balkon mit Blick ins Grüne sowie den Grill, den wir abends gerne genutzt haben. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und zugleich zurückhaltend – die Privatsphäre der Gäste wird hier wirklich respektiert. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Mark and Mina's apartment. The place was very well set-up and spacious enough for two. We especially loved the patio outside, which offered a stunning view of the ocean. Despite being on the hosts’ property, we had a great sense of privacy throughout our stay. The apartment came with a dryer and washer, which was very convenient. We also appreciated having beach accessories at our disposal, including towels, body boards, and snorkeling gear. The covered parking space was a great addition. Mark and Mina gave us a warm welcome and provided some excellent recommendations for places to visit in Kona. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to explore the west side of Big Island. The only thing to note is that the kitchen is suitable for basic cooking only, as there is just one burner.

How can I start? Pamela’s place is gorgeous!!!! My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay there. Nature is beautiful and the place very clean and cozy. Short distance to Volcano National Park. I really recommend this place and for sure I will be staying again if it’s possible next time I’m visiting the area. Thank you so much Pamela for your hospitality.

The Flower Bed was one of the most unique places I have ever stayed. I needed a place to lay my head and rest for one night and came across Laura’s listing. The photos looked gorgeous, the location worked well, it had amenities I wanted, and the price was reasonable, so I decided to book. I am so glad that I did. Laura’s check-in instructions were so clear and the directional photos in the app were super helpful, too. Even when arriving in the dark of night, I was able to easily find the location due to the detailed directions provided. When I pulled in, I was greeted by the beautiful view of the Flower Bed all lit up by the cute string lights that line the edges of the dwelling. Once inside, I was struck by how homey it felt right from the get go. Laura has it decorated so well. It’s such a cozy little space. The outdoor shower was actually very enjoyable with the warm water. And the outdoor toilet was super clean and comfortable to use. Thank you so much Laura & fam! :-)

I took my wife here for our honeymoon and we absolutely loved the place! It was very well cared for, had everything we needed including snorkel gear, was very clean, and quite peaceful. The roads are easy to drive and it is not far from the airport. We were treated with fantastic coconut water, chocolates, and champagne! The hot tub was also awesome and we enjoyed our evenings there. Sundara is great!

Everything was perfect. Very well equipped and considered AirBnB. We got a lot of extra baby and children stuff. The communication withAki and Aaron was very good. Highly recommend!

My family and I had a fantastic stay at this hidden tropical gem. The location is walkable to the local town restaurants and shops, and a short drive to Kailua Kona. No ac required in April since nights are chilly and breezy during the day. Sunsets were spectacular from the lanai or living room. Night time was filled with the sounds of the frogs and smell from the night blooming flowers. I recommend getting an suv for a car rental since the roads are kinda rough. Also watch out for neighborhood cats and chickens that roam the streets. Overall it was a wonderful stay!

It was a beautiful experience at the Jungle Haven. The ambiance was amazing and we loved everything about our stay! Nicole was so friendly and we enjoyed our visits from Koda and Frappacino :) It was especially special when it rained and we sat on the porch overlooking the jungle. If you are looking for something extra unique and peaceful this is definitely the place to visit!

This bungalow was absolutely quaint and adorable—so peaceful, private, and surrounded by the lush beauty of Hawaiian nature and palm trees. Abbie was a wonderful host, super responsive to any questions we had and made the stay easy and enjoyable. There was so much to explore in the area, and having Kehena Beach just minutes away was such a treat. Everyone in town was warm and welcoming, which made the experience even more special. I’ll definitely be coming back! Mahalo!

Jenni’s little Maui bungalow is a true gem! It was clean, charming and stocked with all of the amenities you could ask for. I didn’t realize how streamlined (and less wasteful!) an air bnb stay could be until staying at Jenni’s. She has truly thought of everything a traveler could want or need— from salt and pepper to beach towels to incredible local recommendations. She made our stay pleasant, convenient and relaxing. My husband and I hope to return one day soon!

Wonderful place with incredible hosts! It is very local yet with a few restaurants and markets in town. Definitely not a tourist feel, and we LOVED that! Annette was so kind and helpful with any question we had and explained everything for us non-islanders so well. Most beaches were about a 30 minute drive due to the elevation changes with other, bigger towns even a touch closer than that. The island as a whole was so unique and every 10 miles on the highway seemed to bring out a whole new set of colors. We loved our time and loved our conversations with Annette. Bless them!

Beautiful place, looked just like the pictures! Peaceful and quiet, all the furnishings were beautiful and comfortable. They provided nice touches throughout to make you feel at home.

Nous avons eu un réel coup de cœur pour Joëlle, avant même le lieu. Joëlle est attachante, gentille, agréable. Elle fait tout pour que vous soyez à l’aise. La preuve nous ne voulions plus partir. Quant au lieu, il est sublime. La cabane est hors du temps, face à l’océan. Il y a du matériel à disposition, tout de quoi faire de jolies balades sur l’eau ou dans les terres. Foncez chez Joëlle.
