Steve and Rebecca's place is a very cozy and warm little house. We had everything we needed inside for our very first visit to Boston. Each room is very well furnished with comfortable beds and a nice comfy couch to unwind in after walking through the city all day. The house is tucked into a corner on top of a steep hill which gives a very nice and quiet private spot to stay. This is a wonderful spot! I do have to mention a few little quirks that should be noted. The hill could cause some issues for parking for some depending on your vehicle since the spot can be a little tricky getting in or out. I recommend using an uber, which what we did to get around rather then fiddling with the parking. Also, there is a downstairs area that is obviously off limits and is clearly marked as such behind the curtain in the kitchen area. Having a door with a lock for both sides seems like a more comfortable solution for both parties. Otherwise, this is a wonderful find!

Claire and Marco were excellent, easy to reach hosts! House was very clean and tucked back in a private residential area while also being very close to downtown Edgartown. Would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay at Ellen and Jennifer’s house. It was perfect for a weekend trip with friends and our two young children to relax and have fun. The hosts were very quick to respond and gave clear instructions for everything. The kitchen was well-stocked and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

From the moment we stepped into this wonderful house in Charlestown we felt instantly at home. Every inch of the home is beautiful and the house is on the historic registry. Megan and Victor were amazing hosts, responding immediately to any question we had. We will definitely be staying there again when we travel to Charlestown. (Hopefully it will be available! 🤞)

Beautiful and comfortable house. Private with gorgeous views. Fun treats and snacks and even lovely surprises in the bathrooms. Being able to do laundry and the guide to local restaurants and attractions were all super helpful. Tara provides an amazing online database of recommendations and instructions. Note to dog owners: one thing that we didn't realize until we booked and read all the pages of the guidebook, dogs are not allowed on furniture or to be loose in the house alone. Tara was kind enough to ask us our dog's size and provide a crate, but because we've never crated our dog, we just brought her with us everywhere. More fun for her!

My friends and I were looking for a place in the area to stay during spring break, and had a lovely time at this little cottage! The home was clean and had just enough space for 5 of us. We really enjoyed the little fire pit, which comes with logs! They also have towels, but did not really have bowls or an extra supply of paper towels. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here!

Second time staying here. Our favorite place out of all the homes we’ve stayed at. Super clean, comfy beds, and huge kitchen. Karen is very friendly and accommodating. Definitely will be back.

Mark was extremely responsive and any question or request that I made. Excellent to communicate with. We very much enjoyed using the backyard patio and his lobster pot with propane gas fuel for boiling our delicious Maine lobsters which we picked up just around the corner. Location was ideal for walking to restaurants and beautiful residential areas in the charming neighborhood. If you items need repair in the house, and general could use a little updating with linens, mattresses, and lighting. But for host, responsiveness, ideal, location, and backyard dining, you couldn’t ask for anything better.

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The apartment was in excellent condition — clean, modern, and very comfortable. The location was perfect, right between MIT and Harvard, and just a couple of blocks from the Red Line subway, which made it so easy to get to Boston Common and the heart of the city. The amenities were great, and everything we could possibly need was thoughtfully provided and well stocked. The host was responsive, helpful, and made the whole experience seamless. We would definitely consider staying here again for future visits!

We had a short but pleasant stay at Gail’s and the in-law apartment was perfect! Check in was easy and the apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with great snacks! This is a great location for exploring Falmouth and the rest of the Cape and Gail is super friendly and responsive. We hope to stay longer next time!

Corinne is a wonderful host! She has a beautiful place in a wonderful neighborhood which is walkable to the beach. The view is breathtaking and a very relaxing stay!

We had a great stay and Qing was a wonderful host. The location was great and very close to Boston, making it easy to explore for a few days. The apartment was very comfortable and accommodating.

What a wonderful experience! I rented the smaller room with the single bed. The room and linens were clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable. I slept very well, it is a quiet street on a cul-de-sac, no street traffic. Newton is a beautiful suburb of Boston, Myra's is about 6 miles from downtown Boston, I believe. It is 2 mins by car, very walkable, from the Boston College Newton Campus. It is about 10 mins by car from the Boston College Chstnut Hill Campus. The bathroom is shared with the other rented room, very clean with everything you need provided and a nice strong, hot shower. The guest rooms and bathroom are up one flight of stairs. Now, the best part - Myra! She is the best host I have ever stayed with! I instantly felt so comfortable with her and chatted incessantly, lol. She made awesome breakfasts, too, so yummy. Overall, just such a wonderful stay, highly recommend!

We spent two nights with Rick and enjoyed our stay. You're renting a room in a quaint old complex of three or four old buildings converted to hotels. You can hear people walking the halls, but we did not hear anyone in their rooms. There is no "front desk", per se. If no one is at the Cleveland House office when you arrive, you call a number posted on the office door, and someone from the staff will arrive shortly to check you in. Every staff member we met was pleasant and welcoming as was Rick. We were offered our choice of three rooms. The staff member was happy to walk us around to the different buildings to show the options and answer our questions about each. The rooms are clean and simple; there is a chair or two and a small table, plus a closet and dresser. These rooms are to be slept in, not stayed in for the day. After two days of walking and seeing all Newport had, it was perfect for us to sleep. The quiet street was as safe and short walk to Thames Street.

We stayed at Mary‘s and Mal‘s beautiful Hydrangea Farm for 2 nights and loved every minute! The house is wonderfully located and absolutely stunning (inside and outside!). The apartment is furnished with a lot of love and attention to detail, and very clean. It was just as cozy and comfortable as it looks on the photos. Mary and Mal are both very friendly and pleasant to talk to. Thanks so much for hosting us - we highly recommend staying here!

We stayed at Wiz's place for 3 nights and felt right at home! Our stay was super pleasant, there are a lot of things to do in the area and we could have stayed a lot longer. The breakfast was such a nice little touch and the homemade goodies were very much appreciated! Thanks again for everything!!

Peter and Mauricio's place was clean, comfortable, and affordable. This was a perfect place to stay for us. The hosts were helpful and friendly. Also, the breakfast and coffee are very good. We would happily stay there if in Provincetown again.

We had a really fantastic stay at Candace's place! Candace greeted us at checkin. The building itself is very easy to get into as well. Candace gave us a very thorough tour, and the spaces available to us were all very clearly marked. The bedroom and bathroom were private and separated from the rest of the house even though it's a shared space. It was also very soundproof. The location was very quiet, but also an easy walk to both Harvard Square and Porter Square. Candace was an amazing host. Her Airbnb has so many thoughtful touches (multiple mirrors when we said we'd be getting ready for a wedding, dishes set out for us for breakfast, lots of blankets and space heaters, etc.). The art and decorations in the house are incredible, and all have neat stories behind them. The yogurt she provided was literally the best we've ever had in our lives. And Candace was so kind and helpful. We loved hearing about her experiences as a Boston educator. We'd stay again when back in town!
