Affordable, superb, ground floor, self catering holiday apartment in the beautiful village of Bothel, Cumbria. Offering one double bedroom, a cosy and modern lounge/dining room and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a shower and everything you need for a holiday. It is a real home from home that also has good WIFI access, off street parking, wonderful private views overlooking open fields and is also dog friendly. This hidden gem provides a couples retreat with use of private hot-tub. Offering peace and tranquillity in a spacious modern setting. The Barn and adjoining house are over 300 years old the property being a former Gincase We are located in a small hamlet yet close to the local ammenities found in Cockermouth, Carlisle and the Harbour Town of Maryport, ideal for exploring the Solway Firth with views over to Scotland with its beautiful sandy beaches or perfect for visiting the Lakes and Fells.

Lake District Holiday Lodge with views of Skiddaw

Forest View Lodge is situated on a quiet site, which is located right on the Lake District National Park border, making it an excellent base for exploring the Lakes . The site has no amenities, however there is a garden centre tea room next door and a pub in the next village. Cockermouth is 10 minutes, Keswick 25 mins. The lodge sleeps 4 in two double bedrooms, both en-suite. There is a fully-equipped modern kitchen, and the decking is perfect for relaxing with a drink after a day exploring.

Situated in the Georgian market town of Cockermouth, our charming 2 bedroom property is part of a former Grammar school listed building. Only a few miles from the Lake District National Park and Solway Coastline, Scholars Cottage is superbly situated for you to enjoy the beautiful scenery and some of the best local walking routes during your stay. The Cottage has recently been refurbished to a high standard and we look forward to hosting for you as you explore the Western Lake District.

A perfect retreat for those looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the northern Lakes. Tawny Cottage is one of three fully-equipped and dog-friendly cottages set around a pretty courtyard in stunning natural surroundings. Surrounded by woodland and fell - watch deer and other wildlife from your back door. Away from the crowds but close to everything the Lake District has to offer. Magnificent views from the end of the drive south towards Skiddaw, and the Solway Coast to the north.

In beautiful Blindcrake Village, with stunning views of Skiddaw, the Barn is the perfect place to stay with family & friends, cycle the lakes… bag some Wainwrights… Bedrooms: 2 doubles, 2 family, 2 mezzanines (in total, sleeps 13). Cockermouth 4miles (shops/pubs/restaurants/cafes) Keswick 13miles Bassenthwaite Lake 5miles Garden, space for bikes/kayaks, bbq, dartboard (bring your own darts!) Dog friendly (not in the bedrooms please).

Traditional shepherd's hut with views to Skiddaw

The hut is set in the middle of a family farm, forget about your busy lives and sit back and relax in this peaceful location ideal for a romantic retreat, with views up the Lorton valley ,cozy up into front of the wood burning stove and plan your adventure for the next day. The hut has no electricity but has solar lights, and a separate composting toilet, all bed linen is provide along with wood for the stove. A breakfast hamper will be delivered to your door in the morning

Welcome to Highside a delightful cottage set in a secluded location overlooking the tranquil village of Lorton. Dating back to 1695 (as engraved on the fireplace in the kitchen), the cottage retains many original features but has been sympathetically modernised. The cottage resides within our farm, Terrace Farm with open countryside and panoramic views of the Lakeland Fells and numerous Wainwrights including Melbreak, Whiteside, Low Fell, Hopegillhead to name but a few.

A great open plan house for chilling or catching up with friends and family. 3 comfortable bedrooms, two additional sleeping areas (a day bed and a sofa bed). Great for walking and outdoor adventures, and 20 minutes drive from the sea. Easy linked to the beautiful gem town of Cockermouth, cultural Keswick, and bustling Carlisle as we are just off the main A road.
