Secluded Solar Cabin with Picturesque Views

Remote 300 sq ft solar powered cabin in the ponderosa forest 7 miles from the town of Mancos by Mancos State Park. Great place to stay in the area while on your trip to the southwest or Mesa Verde National Park. A pleasant place for guests who want to unplug, relax, and enjoy a rustic outdoor wilderness experience. Great trails for hiking, bird watching, cross country skiing and snow shoeing! Note: If a big winter you will need a 4x4 or all wheel drive vehicle to access the neighborhood.

The 4 Corners Tiny House

Welcome to the Four Corners Tiny House—a handcrafted basecamp just outside Cortez with big sky views. Inside is simple and functional. The kitchen has a sink, microwave, hot plate, and essentials. A loft bed with a new mattress and a futon for extra sleeping space. The bathroom has a full-size shower with on-demand hot water. Step outside to your private deck, fire pit, and Adirondack chairs,perfect for coffee, fires, and views. (Water pressure issues noted by prior guests has been resolved.)

El Nido Apartment at Totten Lake

El Nido is a second-story apartment on a lake-front property, with panoramic views and a wrap-around patio. This two-bed, one-bath contemporary apartment is named El Nido (Spanish for "the nest"), because of the abundant wildlife in the area, including resident bald eagles nested across the street in a designated wetlands. The space is fully furnished and is new construction as of the summer of 2024. The owners have a workshop and office space on the first floor, with occasional day use.

Navajo Yurt~ Mesa Verde Views on Campground

Our traditional wooden Navajo Hogan offers a unique experience. Only 5 miles from downtown Cortez. Showers & kitchen are seasonal from April - October. It has a porta-potty, pump sink & portable battery inside. It comes with a queen size bed with full linens, and two towels. There is a wood stove is inside for heat and boiling water. This is located on a private campground. Please see photos. Extra linens are available for rental onsite. Price includes 2 guests, $10 each after, up to 6 total.
