The location was terrific! The sauna and hot tub was such a treat after a long day of sightseeing. We loved the house - super cute and clean! The host was very responsive and the place had everything we needed. I would recommend this house to everyone!

This was our 2nd stay with Ryan and it’s been great both times! Always clean, like the pictures, and easy to check in. Ryan has had great communication before and during our stay. Will stay again!

I wanted this place for some R&R and it was perfect!! I will definitely stay again!! It was so peaceful. I have rented tons of cabins from all over the U.S and I seriously think it was the cleanest place I ever rented. I normaly dont use dishes etc that is in places I rent, but I did here. Everything felt clean. I felt at home. The scenery was so peaceful. I watched the wilife in the morning and sunset in evening. Worth every dime! Check it out!! You wont be disappointed.

We loved this place. Came after a week in our camper & needed a few nights of some extra comforts. Rock crest did not disappoint! We stayed in the French creek cabin. It was tucked away in the corner of the resort backed up to a large rockface hill. The cabin was beautiful with wood interior, stone fireplace & a private hot tub on the deck. It was the perfect place to come back to after a long day exploring the nearby parks. We walked into town every night for dinner & to browse the little shops. The walk was less than a half mile. Always stopped for ice cream on our walk back after dinner. Best coffee shop was a hundred yards from our cabin. The kids loved the pool, it was clean & nice temp. We got there earlier than we were supposed to & they accommodated us (thank you!!) Also we had whitetail deer in our yard every morning & night. At least 6 different ones. One very big buck. Was serene. We loved it & will be recommending it to friends & family!! Thanks Rock Crest Lodge!!

We were very happy with our stay! The cabin was very cozy, a unique spot to stop by during our travels.

This was my second time staying here in five years. Everything was great and as advertised. For a remote cabin, it was everything we were expecting. Some areas needed dusting, but I'm 6'7", so I could easily see areas that probably go overlooked. There was a cool cave within walking distance of the house that was advertised in their welcome binder. It took a little bit to find, adding a map or GPS coordinates would have made the hunt easier. But it was a cool experience once we found the cave entrance.

We recommend you to book if you are looking for a little relaxing getaway! Very nice and decorated well! Chris was very easy to deal with!

The cabin was spotless and decorated beautifully. The location was so peaceful and within a short drive to Lacrosse. We especially loved the hot tub and visits from the dogs (we called them over). Derek was very responsive and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this location.

Great place to get away from the bustle of the city but still be close to the essentials

Cabin was comfortable and the hosts were very responsive and accommodating. Great stay fir my first Airbnb!

Loved waking up to the birds and the flow of the area on the porch in the morning. Also, while sitting by the fire late in the evening we heard a sonorous call of a bird that we could not identify but made for an incredible moment and memorable evening. Highly recommend Deborah's place to explore the driftless.

I had the most peaceful and relaxing time while staying at this cabin. The river views are beautiful. Wonderful wildife, ambient birds singing and at night they're were owls whooing. I loved it. I will definitely be coming back and bringing family next time. Susan was attentive. I appreciate that she checked in on me to make sure I was doing good and let me know that if I needed anything to let her know. Susan, next time I'll come and meet you and say hi. :)

This cabin was exactly what we needed. Peaceful and relaxing. Everything was perfect. Adam was an awesome host and super friendly. He thought of everything. Can’t wait to stay here again.

All I can say is that it's simply amazing Very responsive to questions and flexible on time of arrival as well, this was our second time here and we will be coming back again in the coming years. Very polite and the hospitality was amazing. See you all Next year!!

I needed a place of quiet and peace for a weekend and this was exactly that! My two dogs and I enjoyed the space and view of the river.

We had a wonderful siblings trip at Ashley’s cabin! Relaxing, beautiful space. Apple TV was super nice to have as well. We are already planning another trip back!

We stayed at Deb’s place for a baseball tournament weekend and had a wonderful experience. The home was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Deb was friendly and easy to communicate with, which made everything simple from start to finish. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing—just what we needed in between games. Would definitely stay here again!

Another great stay here at Clear Lake thanks to Steve. We’ve stayed at this cabin twice now to do some ice fishing! Highly recommend!

Great location to explore the Black Hills area. About a mile from Custer, near Custer State Park, convenient to other local attractions. Kitchen was well furnished and easy to cook meals. Sofa was comfortable for watching tv and bed was comfortable. Grill was great to use! Everything was clean and maintained well. Jordan was very responsive when I couldn’t figure out the tv and also when we wanted to extend our stay another night. Plenty of room for a small family. I would not hesitate to rent his place.

Our party of five adults stayed at Andy's place for a birthday weekend and had a great time. The cabin and surroundings are as described ~ clean, unique, private, quiet. We kayaked and fished in the pond and ate our meals on the deck; we loved the outdoor spaces and appreciated having the kayaks and the fire pit available. We traveled to Elkader and Decorah during the days. The cabin was just the right place to come back to.

This little place was cute and cozy! Had every thing you needed in your Home away from Home ! Beautiful surroundings and tucked away in your own little quiet spot. Will definitely be coming back! Thanks again!

This was genuinely the best stay I have ever had in my life. Better than any hotel, or any type of stay. The host had very clear instructions, after we checked in we were just left to ourselves! The cabin is beautiful. Peaceful. With great water streams nearby, and the Des Moines River. Incredibly quiet. Easy to access. The place was perfectly clean, with every little thing we would have wanted. All we had to do was bring some groceries, and everything fell into place. Just as described. A nice week of turning our phones completely off, and just exploring the local towns. Who says you can't vacation in small town Iowa? I highly recommend this place. Worth every Penny!
