A spacious home by the water. We celebrated Thanksgiving at this location and it was very special. The views are beautiful, had a fire right by the water and relaxed by the beach. A perfect getaway with family and friends. It has everything you need, the living room is super comfortable and great to relax with the family. The kitchen was spacious making it easy to cook and entertain the family. We loved the hot tub, playing pool and having family dinner. Overall a fabulous experience!! Great host- great communication. Highly recommend

I had a wonderful stay! Dana was a fantastic host, and Kim, the co-host, made sure everything was seamless from start to finish. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and stocked with an ample amount of supplies that made the getaway even more comfortable and easy. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, which made settling in effortless. Communication was clear and prompt, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I would definitely love to stay here again. Thank you, Dana and Kim, for making everything so perfect!

This house was amazing and the host was extremely responsive. We were looking for a place to relax and fish, and this was perfect. We were only there for few days but managed to catch so many different types of fish and probably close to 60 fish total. The house was clean and had everything we could imagine. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing adventure.

My family and I enjoyed staying at this property. Only thing we had issues with was cleanliness of bathroom and air filter. Both of which were dirty and clogged with dust. Only reason is was somewhat of an issue is because my kids are highly allergic to dust. Besides that, great property.

We had a great stay at Mel’s place-we t down to Morehead city for a fishing trip and this house was perfect for our group. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was clean and spacious and the views were calming. The living room was really a place for gathering friends and watching the final four on the lovely sectional couch and giant loveseat chair. We ate our dinner around the dining table with plenty of room. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room in each bedroom for our belongings. We walked to the beach and took the golf cart to the beach as well. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. The only downside was there was not enough seats on the outside decks where we spent most of our time. There were only two chairs and a love seat. We would stay again!

This is our fourth? fifth? stay at Sundar's lovely spot. Private, gorgeous beach out back, great expansive views out front with ships in the distance. Home is very comfortable. We are always there in November so don't swim, or kayak, or fish. Just enjoy the comfortable home and the walks on the beach. Sundar is always very responsive and available. Kitchen has everything you need. Appliances are great. Beds are comfortable. No clutter of owner's cast-offs which many airbnb homes have. We will be back next year!!

We spent Easter weekend here. As we drove in the wild azaleas and dogwoods were blooming, and everything afterwards was just as beautiful and peaceful. My teenagers loved kayaking and my daughter liked the pond so well she slept on the daybed on the porch. I appreciated the feather pillows and reverse osmosis water. Attention has been paid to every detail. I called my Nana to show her the antique desks. My small children enjoyed the toys and my middle son using the pully bucket on the porch. My daughter celebrated a birthday over our stay, more movie guests showed up than expected and I just couldn't turn these kids away. Our hosts were so kind. They of course charged a little extra as was clearly understood via the contract, they were very understanding and polite. The lock to the boat seems to be jamed, the downstairs fireplace is currently non operational, and I'm not sure I'll get back a thumb drive I forgot, but this family has worked hard to create really special place. Five star

As serene as it gets (except Wednesday is the mowing day, but didn’t bother us). Renee is super responsive, which helped a lot. The place is clean and very relaxing, it is remote though, any big city you want to drive to is 1.5-2hr drive. Had fun fishing from the dock, so many catfish there, anyone can catch. Friendly neighbors. Water is on the soft side. Fridge and cupboard had spices and condiments, and a water filter, which was a big plus. Pots and pans need replacing, that’s probably the only negative. Would come back in a heartbeat. Thanks Renee and Ed!

We had a great stay at the cottage. Very peaceful getaway. We loved biking around the island and learning about the history. The cottage was very clean and Janet was very kind and helpful. Recommend for a cute unique getaway!

I wish I could have stayed longer! The house was beautiful with so many thoughtful touches. Andrew’s place was clean, spacious, and had the most gorgeous views of the water. The highlight of our stay was the outdoor spaces! We loved eating outside on the spacious deck, drinking morning coffee on the lounge chairs, and going for multiple paddles in the provided kayaks and paddle boards. I hope to book again soon!

It did not disappoint in a cozy,relaxing get away. The beautiful landscape and easy living in the quaint cottage was perfect. At our request Karen recommended restaurants and other Eastern Shore jewels.

I am running a program out of this home all year long and we have 4 retreats at the property which I'll write a review for each time we stay. We got to experience the season of winter in January complete with a beautiful snowfall the last day of our trip. This time, we got to experience the spring...the season of rebirth. I am grateful for everything the home and land provided to us during this last experience. The home feels like our home while we are there and it has everything we need. Thank you so much!

Very lovely cabin. Actually looked better in person than it did in the photos. The hosts were very responsive and attentive. The kitchen is fully stocked with seasonings and cooking supplies. We loved the rocking chairs on the screened in porch. Only downfalls were a good bit of the dishes that were put away were not cleaned, but you are expected to load those into the dishwasher yourself. My assumption is that previous guests did not rinse the dishes before running them through the wash and someone put them up after not checking them first. Not a huge deal. We can't speak much on the amenities offered at the cabin because we stayed during bad weather, but it was the perfect cabin for an unplugged weekend with just board games and food. Overall, it was a really great place to stay and we would personally go back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tim’s cabin. The cabin was easy to find and not too far from anything we needed to get to in town. We enjoyed being on the porch listening to the river & our many naps on the swing. The cabin itself was cozy & great for a couple. Would stay again!

This place was an absolute gem! It was very clean, beautiful, well kept, very peaceful, super comfortable bed and couch and chairs. My husband and I loved staying here. We loved sitting outside listening to the river, fishing, the inside fireplace, and seeing such gorgeous views from the deck. The hot tub and the trails by the river was an added bonus, we didn't need anything Williams humble abode had it all! We will definitely be telling our family and friends about this rare treasure. Host was super easy to get ahold of and quick to respond with any questions I had. We loved our stay here! Perfect relaxing oasis we both needed.

Lynn was a very responsive and kind host! We had some bad weather during our stay and she reached out to make sure we were aware. Not only that but she let us take shelter in the next door home with a lower level. Truly went above and beyond and made us feel right at home and well cared for.

Sure! Here’s a catchier version of your review: We had an amazing stay at Bob’s place! The home was just as described. The location couldn’t have been better, with the river right in front of the house, making for a truly relaxing experience. The master bedroom’s balcony overlooking the river was the perfect spot to unwind. On top of that, the host was super friendly and always available. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it!

We loved our stay at Amelia’s cabin! It is such a beautiful location and so peaceful. Our family had the best time fishing from the dock, going out on the canoe, enjoying the hot tub and having a bonfire. We would definitely come back! Our dogs had the best time swimming as well. Amelia was always very responsive, friendly and helpful! She is a wonderful host!
