Rachels place was amazing, not one thing to compalin about! She is so sweet and kind and even suprised us with a brand new outdoor seating area, with table and grill, all new! She is an exceptional host an I look forward to future stays there! Thank you for everything, especially the very warm hospitality!

Lovely home, with plenty of space for the family. My boys loved the kids room and bunk beds! Elkhorn was peaceful and beautiful. I didn’t get a chance to check out the Breaks park but maybe next time! I did see some elk on the side of the road though and that made the whole trip for me!

Our sibling getaway was great. Home was as described and very clean. Location was perfect for what we had in mind which was day trips We checked out Hatfield McCoy history one day . Loretta Lynn on another day and just enjoyed driving the mountains and valleys. This place would be perfect for a group with several buggies to ride in. Extreme parking and many trails near by. Only if we were 20 to 30 years younger lol. All in all this place was just what we needed. Thank you. Eddie Sanders. Cub Run, KY

Debrina and Mike did an amazing job. They were extremely accommodating and kind. We had an amazing time and would not hesitate to recommend this stay to anyone.

Perfect place to stay if you’re riding the trails. Sherry Bo’s restaurant is a mile down the street. We enjoyed eating there several times.

We had a short stay and the place was great. We were surprised by how spacious the place was a photos don’t quite do it justice. There’s a outdoor space we didn’t get to use as the rain came in but overall cute house, cute theme, nice lighted patio space and deck with ample seating and a creek that runs behind the house. Quick trip down the road to the camp groups our friends were staying at and easy ride to the trails.

Very nice place. Clean and relaxing. Our boys loved the dogs. We came to ride Hillbilly Trails, which did not disappoint. This rental is about 20 minutes from either trailhead. The road to the rental is very narrow. Our trailer is 84 inches wide, any wider and we wouldn’t have made it. Definitely recommend Shelby’s place and would stay again.

We were very pleased with the place .. just what we needed it was clean and had everything on hand as needed. We cooked and felt right at home . The view was amazing . Great get away ! Thank you Mrs. Jamie for everything. God bless her .

Great location, you can see the main road between Pikeville and Prestonsburg. Everything was as it was described, it was very clean and cozy. Prefect for two people. The host was nothing more than great and communicated great. If you’re in this area it’s well worth the price the host is asking. I travel a lot with my job and it was awesome to come to a place that felt cozy like coming home after work. Awesome place give it a try if you’re in the area.

Even though our stay was short, the space was exactly as described. It was nicely furnished, the bed was super comfy, plenty of space and very quiet. We arrived and it was easy to find and access was no problem. We went for a concert in Pikeville and all hotels were much more expensive than this location. It was convenient to our concert and it was convenient to the breaks interstate park where we hiked the next day. All in all a great spot to stay.

I highly recommend this airbnb. It was very clean and cozy. Access to a washer & dryer, spacious parking, and fully equipped kitchen were a plus. The host was very easy to talk with and gave plenty of instructions beforehand. 10/10 experience!

If you decide to explore Breaks Interstate Park and the Crooked Road, consider staying at this newly renovated apartment in Virginia. The ground-level accommodations (very comfortable) feature a spacious bedroom with two queen-size beds, a kitchenette with seating area, and a bathroom with shower and washer-dryer. The location, which overlooks a river and rolling hills, is only 8 miles from Virginia’s “Grand Canyon.” The Crooked Road leads visitors to attractions including the Ralph Stanley Museum, the Carter Family Fold, and the Birthplace of Country Music Museum. Our host was welcoming and eager to meet our needs. The town of Haysi, Virginia, offers a small grocery store, restaurants, shops, and a gas station. We would certainly consider staying there again.
