Angela is really an amazing lady, providing welcome gifts,plus tea, coffee and fresh milk. great after a long journey cuppa and feet up. we would like to keep this a secret but it's too perfect for anyone to missout on. nook up you won't be disappointed

Great hosts!! Really friendly, responsive and caring! I booked this for family visiting Nottingham for the first time and I’m glad we did! My family felt right at home and were delighted with their stay! They were very comfortable staying in this private annex and really liked the homely touches and warm welcome they received from the hosts. They said they would love to stay here again :)

Unfortunately, my stay was less than 24 hours as I was in the area for a friends event but the accommodation was good and had everything I needed. It was clean and well equipped. Sandra was a friendly and responsive host. The village is very pretty with a very inviting looking pub! I wish I could have stayed longer.

While many Airbnb places overpromise and underdeliver, The Lodge is what Angela says, and more. It’s spacious, well-equipped, perfectly furnished, and clean. Angela and her husband, Derek, are great hosts, quick to answer questions (although everything is very clear from their notes), and hitting just the right balance between being available if needed, but not imposing. I have to visit the area at least a couple of times each year and I will definitely stay here again. If asked for anything that could be improved, the only thing I can think of is that for longer stays, a washer-dryer would be a very welcome addition! But that’s nitpicking. Everything was great, and thanks to Angela and Derek for a great stay.

We had a very relaxing stay, whilst there was a variety of restaurants nearby and beautiful scenery we chose to stay in most of the time in the cosy loft. A great nook to binge movies and play games with friends by the fire. Lovely hosts and pictures provided of the propery are very accurate. 100% recommend for a chill weekend and 100% stay again.

We all had a lovely stay with Pete and Sue. The annexe was spacious and perfect for a group of 4! It was extremely homely and comfortable, you can’t fault it! We were very well welcomed by Milo who was a real character😅! They had great recommendations for the area which was stunning! It was easy to locate and had no trouble at all! Hugely appreciated their hospitality and was definitely worth the visit. We hope to come back to the area soon!😁

Lovely faultless experience. Spotlessly clean, comfortable furniture. Big TV, well equipped kitchen. Loaf of bread, milk, butter and jams provided and even a box of After Eights. Sadly I had brought everything as I didn’t expect these to be provided but a lovely touch. Off street parking in a quiet sleepy village. Can highly recommend.

Second time here, just as good as the first! Rachel is always available to help and puts lovely touches into making you feel right at home. Would recommend to anybody, and already have started!

Thank you for a lovely stay. An excellent location and the accommodation is even better than the pictures show. A large stylish space with everything you need. Set in beautiful grounds. I recommend looking on Google street view to find the entrance. Quite a lot to do nearby with local pubs and holiday park.

The hayloft is absolutely wonderful, a charming rural retreat. Emily was very helpful and approachable. Emily’s advice to use what 3words to find the property were invaluable. Hope to be back in the future, highly recommended.

Lovely airbnb in beautiful location in Flore, amazing garden which we sat and enjoyed the sunshine in for the afternoon. Very comfortable rooms and very light and spacious. Patricia was very friendly and helpful and we loved meeting the two lovely dogs!

Stayed here for a couple of days for a little getaway while I was working remotely & it was just what I needed. The place was cosy & I felt at home which was lovely 😊 The weather was sunny at times too & it was lovely listening to the birds in the beautiful garden. Allison was always quick to reply & very helpful. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you for letting me stay in your cosy little gem 😊

Emma and Chris’ Victoria Barn is absolutely perfect, it’s everything you could possibly need while you’re away. Very private, very comfortable bed and amazing shower. Best hosts you’ll ever stay with, so friendly and will do anything for you. Thank you 😇

Hannah and Sardi were welcoming, attentive and responsive and all communication - great experience from the outset 😊 The stay was serene and far superior to a hotel stay, it was a shame that we were only there for one night!

Really beautiful place in a very pretty village. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Erica was incredibly helpful throughout.

Stayed at Fiona’s annex for a weekend in Cambridge for my mums birthday. It was perfect for what we needed and easy to get to the city centre- we used the park and ride. Fiona was very responsive to our queries and an excellent host. Would definitely book again if needing somewhere in Cambridge!

Contacted Mark to ask about dinner at the local pub on our first night as we were concerned about getting there on time with our journey time. He very kindly went into the pub and arranged a booking for us with a 30 minute arrival time (in case of delays). He was there to meet us and showed us round and was extremely helpful and friendly . Although we only stayed overnight to break up a long journey, he made us feel very welcome and I would always recommend his place to anyone.

Karen's place is a perfect hideaway. Comfortable bed with quality bedding (cotton duvet/ down comforter & pillows). Quiet at night, window opens to allow a fresh breeze, birds singing in the morning!

This was our second stay at Angie and Steve’s gem of a cottage. It was just as good as our first stay. Everything is in tip top working order and the thoughtful touches from the host were appreciated. Will be back to stay again when visiting the Cambridge area.

Jacqui's place was just what I needed and Jacqui herself was lovely. The house is set in lovely grounds with easy parking and upside down living. Jacqui is friendly and accomodating. The house itself is just ride for one or a couple, being cosy but spacious. Everything was as described, clean and tidy and the washing machine was welcome. There were lovely touches such as tea/coffee box and it was dressed for Christmas, which made it even more welcoming. I would definately go back.

We had such a wonderful and memorable stay at Claire's place on our first holiday with our newborn! The accommodation itself was perfect, with the most beautiful views across the lake, grounds and woodland. We saw so much wildlife just from the living room couch! So many muntjak deer, birds, rabbits etc. Such an idyllic and peaceful setting for a relaxing staycation. The woodlands and are so lovely for walks, it feels like you're in the middle of nowhere even though the nearest town is just a few mins drive away. Claire was such a responsive host. She provided very clear instructions and followed up to make sure we had everything we needed for check in. We felt very well looked after and we were so glad to meet her at the end of our stay. We will definitely be returning to The Old Plantation time and time again In the years to come I am sure :) thanks so much Claire for a fantastic stay!
