This was such a delightful, peaceful & beautiful place to stay. Shelby was extremely responsive & helpful. I appreciated that she went the extra mile to alert me to the Aurora Borealis & encourage me to see it from the point. When the power went out b/c of a local car accident, she kept me updated with information about cause & when power was expected to return & provided flashlights & a special battery powered lightbulb to provide light. I couldn't have asked for more!

Our recent stay at Gran Den was fantastic! Brady was super helpful, and communication was quick and clear. The cabin had all the amenities we could ask for and more. It's rustic and full of character yet incredibly comfortable and clean. The spacious layout made it very user-friendly. (The pictures are great but it’s eve better in-person.) The location in Surry is ideal, with Bucksport to the west and Ellsworth to the east, making it a perfect spot to explore the area. Highly recommend this for your next trip.

You cannot beat this location!! With the beach directly across the street, two great restaurants within a few steps, and only 10 minutes drive into Camden, this is the perfect vacation destination! We could not have asked for a better place to relax and have some fun adventures in Camden Hills and Islesboro. The house was very clean and comfortable with all the amenities we could have wanted. We ended up eating out for almost every meal (so many great restaurants in the area!), but the kitchen was very well stocked to make meals in. Brendon and Krista were very quick and proactive with communication and sending check-in instructions. Thanks for such a great stay!!

We stayed at Sabrina's place for 2 nights while visiting Acadia. The property is very private and quiet. it had a view of the cove right behind the house. We enjoyed going out there to see the sunrise. The house is very clean and organized. It had everything we needed for out stay. I would recommend this if your looking for a place away from the crowds of Acadia National Park.

Gorgeous location and very functional home. We were there during winter and loved the frozen water and lovely surroundings. Took nice walks. Look forward to coming back in summer!

As mentioned before this home was enchanting. My only regret was I didn't reserve for longer. Every room had a view of the sea. We took advantage of that and spent a few evenings sitting at the picnic table dining and BBQing. The most relaxing time we have all had in a very long time. Many thanks Caitlin. We look forward to the next.

Darcey was always responsive and honest about the cottage and location. The cottage was updated while still maintaining the rustic and original feel. All appliances worked and there were plenty of water craft to keep us occupied.

This place is amazing! So cozy and so comfortable! The lake was beautiful and we made plenty of use of the fire pit and kayaks. Stephen was so kind and responsive and made asking questions easy. I would recommend this place to everyone!

This is our second stay at Fox Bluff in the last eight months, and we plan to come back many more times. It’s a beautiful home, and Lo is a brilliant host. She checks in regularly to make sure you have everything you need, but isn’t intrusive. The house is extremely well equipped, but uncluttered and airy. Secluded and peaceful, but not remote. There are a few nice restaurants and shops ~5 minutes drive away, in Brooklin, and then larger Blue Hill is a pleasant 20 minute drive: there’s a top-notch independent bookstore, Blue Hill Books; the Blue Hill Co-Op; excellent coffee at Bucklyn Coffee; nice restaurants and shops, etc. There are great trails and shoreline spots all across the peninsula, plus kayaking, sailing, beachcombing, etc. So many stars at night! We’ve always felt comfortable, safe and welcome in the house, and with Lo as our host. It’s our special place and will become yours, too.

The house is stunning. I stayed here for a work trip. The location and the ambience were perfect to get my work done. I wish I had more time to explore the beach area. But my booking coincided with a lovely snow fall. The house is very cozy. The hosts were very responsive to all of my questions. The interior decor is lovely. And I slept really well on the master bedroom bed. I’d love to know the brand the mattress is. Thank you so much. I look forward to returning on a leisure trip when the weather is warmer. But the snow is absolutely lovely.

This was such a treasure of a stay and one of the best trips I've had in a long time, thanks to the joys of this beautiful home. It's located along the coast and near the adorable town of Camden, Maine, which we also fell in love with. As soon as you see this house, you will fall in love and walking in the front door to the view of the bay beyond the windows is an experience. The house had everything we needed and more, the beds were very comfortable, the fireplace was easy to use and such a treat, and the kitchen was well-stocked and more spacious than the photos make it seem. Tobias was a fantastic remote host, providing all sorts of recommendations and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. They ensured our walk was shoveled immediately after a heavy snow and their family who owns the cooking school next door even offered us a tour during their off-season break. I cannot wait to come back with my mother and sisters.

Can’t say enough about Craig’s beautiful lakeside cottage. If you like remote, peaceful and being close to nature this is for you. The house and contents seemed brand new and they had thought of everything we could want, right down to pancake mix, maple syrup and Maine blueberries for our breakfasts. An easy drive to Acadia. Craig was communicative, friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic stay and hope we’ll be back.

Very cool yurt on a kelp farm! Right on the water and the chairs overlooking the bay for the sunset was worth the couple nights in itself. Trey is there to meet you and show you around the property. There were also very friendly property dogs that loved to say hello! The bathroom and shower were in a separate building but was clean and just a few feet from the yurt. There were windows in the yurt that make for a nice breeze through the yurt. The kitchen amenities made making coffee and heating up food a breeze. The host had great information about trails in the area and food recommendations.

This was a gorgeous stay with a great location for going to Acadia/Bar Harbor, while still maintaining privacy. I spent several hours during my one night stay admiring the design of the home (interior and architectural). I spent the night on the living room couch with a solid view of the bottom floor and with several large windows facing me, yet I still felt completely comfortable and that I wouldn't be disturbed or intruded upon. I was plenty warm the entire stay with the gas heater barely on. While there are some small details of the home that could use some touching up, *none of it* was a problem and still left plenty to love. I enjoyed sitting on the cut logs outside and listening to the crows and loons in the early morning (~6am). Everything felt as though it was placed with great intent and consideration, but still welcoming enough to get comfortable without worrying about ruining or disrupting it all. I would love to stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Another amazing stay at Sea Breeze Cottage! Beth is a gracious and responsive host. The house is perfect, from the layout and superb comfort, amenities and well-stocked kitchen, to the ideal, private, waterfront location. A true favorite!

We enjoyed our stay at Ashleys's home. It is a beautiful, peaceful and lovely location, with great proximity to Acadia National Park, Winter Harbor and the Schoodic Institute. Our family enjoyed watching the lobster boats in the morning and noodling around the peninsula. It was a very comfortable space, with a well stocked kitchen and dining area.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay on the lake in the cutest cabin! The host was easy to connect with, answering all our questions with a timely response. Only two pieces of advice; whatever transportation you’re taking make I would suggest a truck with solid suspension. The cabin is on a long rough dirt road and grooved semi-paved, my Elantra wasn’t the smartest option. Second, I would suggest grocery shopping on your way if you want large items and a lot of stuff because Walmart is ~35-40 mins. We had fires every night, it was a little chilly in Sept to swim but we did kayak, and simply enjoyed the peace and quiet of the early Fall on the lake. There is one little country store ~10 mins away that has some last minute grocery items, camping stuff, adult beverages, and a little delicatessen where you can get breakfast stuff and subs - the guy makes a mean hero. At night would cozy up and watch a movie and the beds were crazy comfortable so slept great. We hope to make it an annual trip!!

SERENITY NOW!! Fabulous place in a fabulous location. Spotless clean with every possible accompaniment. Local grocery and fuel. Restaurants in and around Bar Harbor. Don’t book this place unless you want/need to seriously chill and decompress! .

You will fall in love with the charm of this home just as we did! The view from the screen porch and access to the water and Island were fantastic for our teen boys and gal to explore. The adults loved enjoying sunset with a drink from the island rocks. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and well stocked. We especially appreciated the quality towels and bed linens. If we return to Maine we would absolutely stay at this home again.

Staying at Paul and Shankari’s retreat home was lovely. There was plenty of space for all of us (about 14 people) and the hosts left us great instructions and amenities.

Unbelievable place! This is perfect coastal Maine , so no need to leave property.its close to a great beach , Acadia, and host makes it easy and a wonderful experience!
