We personally manage & oversee the home before every stay, & take pride in putting thought & intention into every detail. Lake Michigan Moon Barn

Welcome to your home away from home that we lovingly call the Moon Barn. We are situated in between South Haven and Saugatuck just a mile away from a hiking trail with public access to a Lake Michigan beach. Our home was built in remembrance of a family barn that sat on this location generations ago. It has natural barn wood and art works integrated throughout the house. Downstairs has a complete kitchen, dining area, spacious living room with a gas fire place, full bathroom, and a piano!

Located in a historic home, this second level apartment is just 2 miles (and less) from Bronson hospital, WMU Med school, Kalamazoo Mall and restaurants such as Bells Brewery. It is  equipt with a fully stocked kitchenette, private bathroom, comfortable living space, large screen tv and office work space.  Enjoy some of the most picturesque landscape Northern Indiana has to offer.  We are just a 10 min walk from Stone Lake and have kayak rentals available upon request.  We are conveniently located 8 miles from Shipshewana and Middlebury, IN and just a 40 minute drive from Notre Dame.

Cozy comfort close to Michigan's most popular state park, breweries, wineries, antique malls and farm-to-table restaurants. Morton's Retreat has plenty of room to relax.
