Grýlusteinn is one of three cabins that we own. Nónsteinn, Grásteinn and Grýlusteinn. Our cabins are a perfect getaway place to enjoy the nature at it fullest while relaxing with a breathtaking view. Perfect for newly weds, couples or friends. Kirkjufell - Kirkjufellsfoss - Snæfellsjökull - Water cave - lava fields - black beaches - bird life - whale watching - Mountain view - northern lights - sunset , wonderful restaurants and so much more that you can experience here or near by.

Orca Apartment

Our peaceful, orca-themed apartment offers a spectacular view over Grundarfjörður and famous Mt. Kirkjufell. In the summer you can watch colorful sunsets and in the wintertime witness the Northern lights in clear skies. The apartment is detached from the main building and includes a well-equipped kitchen (yes, there's coffee and tea), a private bathroom, as well as comfortable beds and a seating area for two people. Hraunháls, Helgafellssveit

The house is 82 m2 with two bedrooms, located at a traditional Icelandic farm. The house is between the towns Stykkishólmur (20 km) and Grundarfjörður (20 km), where you can find all facilities you need. The house has superb view over mountains, sea and lava fields. This is a perfect location to discover Snæfellsnes peninsula. From here you can visit the Shark Museum in Bjarnarhöfn, go swimming in Stykkishólmur, go sailing around Breiðarfjörður or visit the national park.

The 45m2 cottage is equipped with two bedrooms, a toilet with shower, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a view of the valley below Kirkjufell and a hot tub on the terrace.

Beautiful 37m2 cottage located in the heart of Stykkishólmur, with a view of Breiðafjörður from the living room. Perfect location and a short walk to the harbor, restaurants, grocery store and community pool. Small yet spacious, the cottage is newly refurbished with wooden floors and geothermal underfloor radiant heat. Bathroom with shower, and private bedroom sleeps two. Loft above sleeps 1-2 additional guests.

This private small cabin (ca. 26 qm) is located at our farm Brimilsvellir. You have a magnificant view to the ocean, beautiful mountains and our horses. There are small cooking facilitys in the cabin with a fridge, water cattle, toaster, plate and microwave. You have very great conditions to see northern lights from september until april.

Guesthouse Brekka - private little cottage offgrid

A small cozy cottage on the edge of a forest in the Westfjords, more specifically by Þingeyri Dýrafjörður. Here you can relax in unspoiled surroundings and enjoy nature in Brekkudalur. This small 25 sqm cottage is heated with a wood stove, water closet, cold running water, gas refrigerator and gas stove.
