The Cottage at Burroughs

The Cottage at Burroughs has recently been completely renovated. A short walk or bike ride to downtown Beaufort restaurants and shopping, it is also just steps away from the Spanish Moss Trail and a short drive to Parris Island. The Cottage has space to park your boat trailer and is one mile from the Downtown Marina and boat landing. A scenic drive through our barrier islands will take you to the beautiful beaches and trails at Hunting Island State Park - complimentary guest pass provided.

This beautiful home is newly built and is located in the heart of Port Royal's "Old Village" It is within walking distance to many unique shops and restaurants as well as Sand's beach which is a local favorite. This 4BR 2 BA country style cottage is roomy and comfortable. Enjoy sitting outside on the front porch or screened in patio while chatting with family, friends and neighbors. We are located just 1 mile from the entrance to Parris Island, a convenient location for marine graduations.

Nestled among live oak trees, surrounded by a natural southern garden, the Live Oak Retreat provides a truly peaceful and private setting. This charming cottage built in the 1940's was recently updated to offer modern conveniences for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
