Alpaca Lodge with stunning views and alpacas

The Alpaca Lodge is a free standing stone building next to our farmhouse in a rural location (16km from Kenmare), surrounded by our herd of friendly free-roaming alpacas and llamas, with stunning views of Kenmare Bay. It has a cozy bedroom with a king-size bed, a small seating area and en-suite bathroom. Cereal, milk, porridge, orange juice, cereal bars and biscuits are provided in the room, and there is a kettle, tea and coffee, cutlery and plates etc., a microwave, toaster and a small fridge.

This snug, grass-roofed eco-cabin offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a warm Irish welcome, mountain walks on the Beara Way or snorkelling through nearby reefs. Sample local cheeses, lamb, fish and seafood or stoke up the wood-burning stove, have a glass of wine and and savour the peace and tranquillity! Word of warning: we are VERY remote, (1km off the road down a rough track). With almost no public transport, own transport (eg car) is highly recommended - see Getting Around!

Set in a stunning peaceful location, Marthas Studio is a self-contained mezzanine accommodation. 15 minutes walk to Sneem with all of its amenities. The mezzanine level offers a super king bed, which can be adapted to 2 large twin beds; plus a small single bed. Open plan downstairs with well equipped kitchen, diner & sitting room , fridge, cooker, microwave, TV. Shower room & toilet are downstairs, together with cupboard space for clothing. We are surrounded by the most spectacular mountains on 3 sides and to the front it opens up to the beautiful Derriana lake. I am situated about 20 minutes from the village of Waterville and about 20 minutes from the town of Cahersiveen.
