The bothy- peaceful country life near the sea

The bothy is a beautiful newly converted farm building located on the east mainland of Orkney. The property is in the countryside, surrounded by farmland and just along the road from one of several wonderful beaches in Deerness. Should you need any items for a baby like a carrier (any age), seat, snuzpod, cot/ cotbed, highchair, etc. Please let us know prior to your arrival, along with the age of the baby/toddler. We also have a 4 bedroom house next door should you need a bigger accommodation

Deerness cottage within a rural setting

The cottage is situated in a peaceful, rural area just 25 minutes drive from the airport and 30 minutes from the main town of Kirkwall. The local bus can be caught just two minutes walk along the road. Within the vicinity is a small shop and fuel pump, a local gin distillery, a couple of beaches and some nice walks.
