Mayfield Studio is a quiet, contemporary, spacious self-contained apartment in the picturesque village of Painswick in the heart of the Cotswolds. A perfect base from which to explore the surrounding hills and valleys. The famous Cotswold Way is on our doorstep and you can walk or hike from here or potter in the village where there are great cafes and pubs. Stroud with its Farmer’s market and The Woolpack at Slad are nearby as is Cheltenham for the races and Jazz, Literary and Music Festivals.

A self contained annexe on a working small holding which has recently been refurbished to a high standard. It is overlooking the unique village of Sheepscombe with fantastic panoramic views over the village and surrounding National Trust beechwoods. This rural retreat is a walkers paradise, dog friendly with close access into the woods behind and near to the Laurie Lee way in the Slad Valley. The Vault is a really special space, which we hope you can see from the photographs. It is a basement studio apartment with its own private entrance. It is quiet and cosy with underfloor heating and an ambient temperature all year round. This property is very central, making it easy to plan your visit. We are very close to the harbour and the property is on the famous Georgian Square, Queen Square. It feels like you have stepped into a film from Jane Austen as you come out of the building.
