We had a great family stay at Huccaby Cottage. The location was perfect for days out and the added bonus of the indoor pool and play facilities was excellent! The cottage is great for little ones with everything you might need, stair gates, travel cots, high chair etc. The welcome hamper was very much appreciated after our journey on the motorway was very slow, the biscuits went down a treat! It was our first visit but certainly not our last, we’re already looking to book next year! Thank you for a fab weekend. X

We can’t thank Andy enough for such an amazing stay. He was so helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. Towels were supplied, everything you need kitchen wise were also supplied, we were made to feel at home from the moment we got there. The views are spectacular, and we got so lucky with the weather. Andy was quick to recommend places to see/places to eat in and around Kingsbridge which in its self was beautiful. He stocked the fire and wood up for us every morning and even warned us about the hot tub temperature (as we would’ve been cooking like lobsters after we heated it abit too much😂). I highly recommend this place and it was well worth the 7 hour drive there and back. 1000 character reviews just aren’t enough for how helpful and welcoming Andy was. We will definitely be back! A really lovely week, marred only by a couple of days' rain (which of course was nobody's fault!). Taryn was extremely efficient and responsive. Barbara was charming and helpful, and explained so much about the lambing process. The house was roomy - great for a family party of nine. My granddaughter loved visiting the lambs, and even holding a newly-born lamb in her arms. Wonderful rolling hill farmland to walk the dog. Visits to the sea, Exeter and Totnes were great too. Thank you, Barbara and Taryn.

We had the relaxing stay at David & Sues place, it was so comfortable and spacious. It felt like a little oasis of calm. We spent evenings sitting by the fire or cooking nice meals on the stove, we walked to the beach and had nice pub lunches and when we had questions for the host, they were incredibly friendly and helpful. Would love to stay again and thanks so much!

Possibly the best Airbnb I have stayed in. Such a unique, beautiful spot. The bedrooms are super spacious with super comfortable beds and it was great to have the two toilets. The property has everything you need and has been thoughtfully designed. Everywhere was spotless! The log burner was lovely to use at night and the hot tub with the stunning views and surroundings is just perfect! We saw so many different types of birds whilst there! We would love to return and will recommend to others.

A lovely little cottage in Brixham, a mile or so from the beautiful port. Cosy place with everything we needed for a couple of nights. Neighbours windows are facing so not very private, but we enjoyed it.

The Old Warehouse was fantastic- absolutely as described. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and basic supplies were welcome and saved us from buying condiments, cleaning products etc. The toiletries were of great quality. We had all the amenities we needed and everything was spotless. All in all it was a fantastic find. The only tiny problem was the small parking space so loading and unloading was a challenge as the road was surprisingly busy. We loved our stay and recommend it highly!

Well located for centre of town and also the hospitals. A really lovely comfortable well equipped and stylish apartment. Anna Lisa was very responsive to any queries responding straight away which was great .

Stylish, cozy, and surprisingly spacious apartment in a perfect location—just steps from amazing restaurants, a wine cellar, creperie, and charming pubs. Ideal for walks. The host was super helpful with great local food tips. Beds were incredibly comfortable!

Excellent accommodation, exactly as described and finished to a high specification. There is a garage to park in at the property but access is tight 6feet width! You would certainly struggle with a large car, we had a VW Golf and it was still quite tight. There is some free on street parking but this is rarely available. The property is a perfect location with a few minutes walk to the town, market and the sea front. Therefore there are several good restaurants, cafes, etc within easy reach. There are 26 steps from the street up to the door of the property and they are quite irregular. There are also steps between some rooms inside the property (2 flights of 3 steps and one single step down into the bedroom. Needs considerationvfor anyone with mobility problems. So overall, if you don’t mind the steps and a tight squeeze for your car (or no means of driving up to the property if you have a large car) then this is an excellent property to stay in. Highly recommended.

We had a great three-night stay. The flat was spotless and exactly as pictured. Check-in was smooth with clear instructions. Location is excellent—quiet yet close to the city centre and train station. The flat is easy to access and well equipped, with a good kitchen and a fridge suitable for a short stay. Heating was easy to control and worked perfectly. Both bedrooms were clean, though the bed frames felt quite light and a bit unstable, and the mattresses were thinner than we’re used to—fine for a few nights, but might be less ideal for longer stays. The inner windows opened easily, but securing the outer sash ones was sometimes a bit tricky. Overall, the flat was clean, functional, and well-located. We were very comfortable and would gladly stay again. A great base for exploring Exeter. Elliot was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything even smoother. Thank you!

Really lovely place to stay, extremely clean and well equipped. The pillows were amazing! Very welcoming hosts and they thought of everything! Great value!

Mary was very welcoming to us on our arrival. The flat itself is very comfortable and right next to the shops / cafes etc in Dawlish. Very well equipped with everything you need for a lovely stay. We were on a family visit, but if you are looking for a holiday Dawlish is ideal and relatively unspoilt compared to other coastal towns. Lots of shops to explore, and of course the famous Gay's Creamery is here too (an absolute must-visit!)

I had a delightful weekend here with my boyfriend, the place was clean, spacious, cosy and well stocked with goodies, eggs and a carton of milk for our tea and breakfast. Melanie was very accommodating and the location was private and peaceful, the perfect space for us to stay while visiting my family.

Loved the house, we stayed for Christmas it was perfect for our needs. The host had put up a beautiful Christmas tree for us. It was super Christmassy and a short walk into town for the lights and a few drinks in the pub. The house was warm, clean and the host was welcoming - we were so happy with everything! We had a perfect family Christmas all together with lots of space. The house is decorated querky and interesting - we loved it.

Stunning house in a gorgeous village just a short train outside of Exeter. Ideal and comfortable for our group of 11 to sleep, eat, relax and then travel into the city for an event over the weekend. Richard was excellent throughout, communicated well and was exceptionally welcoming. The house is exceptionally well equipped and more than suitable for our needs. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay, the views and surrounding area are stunning. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing short break in the sunshine, wish we could have stayed longer - perhaps next year as would love a return visit! Thanks

WOW!! - Foxgloves Retreat is a truly magical place. As a family of 3, we have just returned from an Easter break and it was simply unbeatable. We were so well looked after from the minute we booked and arrived. Stella and Trevor were incredibly friendly, helpful and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was fantastic. The house is absolutely stunning, beautifully designed, exceptionally well maintained and cosy too. Views over the parkland were really special - the colours, the local community enjoying themselves, lots of very happy waggly tails and birdsong. The garden is magnificent - the well manicured plants, colours and wildlife were captivating. Loved the escapism it offered, so private and extensive - great for exploring & hide and seek! The hot tub is huge, the views out were mesmerising and the sauna was a real treat after a busy day spent walking the beautiful and easily accessible coast path. Cannot wait to return in August. Thank you so much for letting us stay!

Enjoyable stay, for a family of 10 for a special birthday. Good location,close to bus,train station,local amenities. would highly recommend.

Our family had a good stay, there was plenty of space for 9 adults and 3 infants. The garden was really spacious and we enjoyed use of the fire pit, BBQ, trampoline and hot tub. The only downside was the kitchen was a bit small for us, as we cooked the majority of meals at home and ordered a big food shop for a week, which we had to split between the two kitchens (upstairs and downstairs). Walkable to Princetown where there are local facilities and amenities, plus driving to many nice places on the moors, but roads are narrow and can take some time to get places, being in the heart of Dartmoor.
