We also own the downtown cafe, Broad Porch Coffee, so are local and can help if you ever need anything. We are family friendly and love dogs, no pet fee. This vacation dwelling is modern from the outside but inside walls are hand cut logs in most of the house. The original house was built in 1864. It has been up dated with just the right up to date furnishings. The view from the porch is spectacular and the neighborhood is quite. The property is located within minutes of many of our attractions that bring people to this area year around. This vacation property is definitely an unique and family-friendly place. We offer a contemporary 3-bedroom furnished house in historic Fort Valley, Virginia. Nestled between the Massanutten Mountains, Edith Guest House provides a base for horseback riding, bicycling, hiking, kayaking, or parasailing activities. The house is furnished with new couches and beds complemented with antiques and art. The kitchen has table service for 8 and sufficient cooking equipment for full meal preparation. The garage is available for storage of tack or sports equipment.

It is perfect for a family vacation, a small group gathering or a romantic retreat! We love kids, but the property is best suited for slightly older children. We always recommend AWD/4WD for safest access to the property.

Recently remodel by myself the owner (an interior decorator) it mixes Boho Chic/ Farmhouse/Cottage style with the use of wood, color and textures. You will delight in the fact that not only are you in a great location for walking but the experience of staying in the House In Luray is a treat in itself.

Finks-Johnson House on Strother Run

The Finks-Johnson House on Strother Run is a renovated farmhouse built by the Finks Family @1900. We have 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a fully equipped kitchen, den, living room and front porch with swing and rockers!! Our property extends across the road, where there is a sitting area above Strother Run. The "sitting area" on Strother Run is shared with the "Little House," at the back of our property, which is rented as well.
