The host was friendly, responsive and accommodating. The place was homey and clean with access to wifi and Nexflix and it was very affordable for the area it was in. Would definitely choose this bnb again

Valencia was a great host! The place was exactly as described and she was always very responsive and made it easy to find. The compound was beautiful and the staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. It was an easy and short walk to the V&A waterfront making it very accessible, and as a gated community, it always felt safe to walk at any time. There's also a cleaning service that comes every day which is great but make sure to let them know what time is convenient for you since we were woken up on New Years day at 10am by a slightly rude and abrupt cleaning lady. Otherwise, everything was perfect. I would definitely recommend it and would even stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay with Chris! As other reviews have noted, Chris is a terrific host, very responsive, and very organized around the logistics of check-in, etc. The apartment was very quiet, and well set-up for remote work. The kitchen was very well set-up for longer term stays, and the array of pots, utensils, etc. made cooking easy; the apartment is near a number of different grocery stores (we used the Checkers further south). The all-new bath and rain shower were great, with lots of storage in the medicine cabinet. Throw in some beautiful sunsets from the balcony, and this apartment becomes an easy place to stay. Christine and Teresa were excellent hosts and catered to our every need. When we arrived, we were walmly welcomed and the instructions for the house were nice and clear. The house itself is beautiful for the most part, however, there are some areas which would benefit from a renovation (the one bathroom and the kitchen sink in particular were outdated and are not fit-for-purpose). That said, we're still rating this place as 5 stars, given the 5-star service we received from the hosts, and the fact that the sea view alone makes up for shortcomings in the apartment. Lastly, we were surprised and very delighted that Christine threw in additional cleanings for us which helped tremendously given that we had two little kids with us. It was really appreciated.

Imraan was very flexible, with early check in and check out. He communicated swiftly and responded to all our messages in a timely manner whenever we had a question. He made our lives easy, that’s what people need when they travel to a foreign country!

A last minute booking had me discover this beautiful apartment. Beautifully central, at the docks, secure parking and an apartment with everything you need, this place was perfect. An immediate feeling of home. I was on the hunt for something private, with secure parking, but in the heart of the city. Sit on the balcony and watch the harbour wake up, or the sun rise over the hills, or snuggle on the sofa and close yourself away with your favourite tv show, or lounge in the beautiful bathtub! This place was food for my soul - and I am planning on booking this for longer next time. Perfectly close to the Waterfront, the CTICC and other places. A true gem! Perfect for solo explorers or couples.

We had a great time staying at Debi and Ian’s apartment ! It was perfect in that it had everything we needed and was in a brilliant location, 15 minutes walk to the waterfront and everywhere else! We rented a car and there was secure parking. The staff on site were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was beautifully kept, very comfortable and with lovely views. We would have no problem in recommending this apartment and would certainly stay here again on our next trip!

This stay was actually better than we expected. I stayed with my teenage daughter and 2 dogs and we all loved the place (dogs included!). The photos really don't do the place justice. It is beautiful inside and the garden is spectacular and really peaceful. The layout of the house is really nice and easy flow throughout. Lots of space for clothes, pantry items, etc so it worked really well for a longer stay. The kitchen was fully kitted out. They really did have everything-- plenty of utensils, cutlery, pans, etc-- even a Nutribullet. There are several shops within walking distance. Being able to walk down to the pick n pay was actually really nice (very short walk). I could be there and back with my items within 10 minutes. Coffee shops, restaurants, takeaways and large shopping center (Kenilworth Center) all within walking distance. There was some slight noise from cars, but it was gentle enough to be more like white noise and didn't bother us at all. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Leatitia’s place. Leatitia welcomed us warmly and we felt extremely relaxed and comfortable during our stay. The location is top class…walking distance to all the beaches within the Voelklip area. Long lazy afternoons enjoying the garden and Braai area. The snooker table was a wonderful fun addition. This lovely house is as advertised. A very green indoors and outdoors that creates a peaceful setting. The open plan of the living area was great for our visit and the family visitors who came around. The single level house made mobility easy for my older parents with no steps or trip hazards. The electric gate and lights out the front made us feel very safe all the time in the already friendly neighbourhood. Easy walks to the vlei are just one house away. We had a lovely relaxed time in the house and it was easy to get to anywhere in the area and Peninsula. Coming back at the end of day felt like home. The kitchen and all appliances are all excellent and everything you could need is there, the big open plan also makes food prep great. A great experience.

Ett mycket trevligt boende som ligger bra till utifrån de olika sevärdheterna runt Cape town. Både rummen och trädgården var större och rymligare än det ser ut på bilderna. Rent och fräscht. Lite oljud från tåget men inte så att det störde på nätterna. Rekommenderas varmt.

Carol is a very welcoming host who was always very responsive and helpful. The house is spotlessly clean and tidy and has everything you might need, you can also access your car without having to go outside as the garage is accessible in the house. My kids loved the house and spent no time at all playing hide and seek and jumping in the wonderful pool. It’s an easy pleasant walk to the seafront with lots of bars and restaurants and is very safe. Uphill on the way back but not taxing. The view and sunsets from the patio are amazing. Nighttime swimming was top on the list! Table mountain is 5 minutes away and the V&A waterfront for bars and restaurants and shopping is about 20 minutes. We would love to come back.

This is a truly cozy cottage. I loved the option to sit outside in more than one place. It was perfectly placed for my business needs. I'd definitely return.

What a wonderful 10/10 experience this has been! Arrived here on new years, spent an entire month here and ended up booking an extra week. I don't want to leave this place at all. If you are looking for an AirBnB gem, this is it. Besides the fact that this house looks like something straight out of Architectural Digest, it also feels equally amazing to be here. Ronell & Ghe made me feel like I was staying at the house of my long lost friends. From taking me on hikes, drinks, and having braai's together - they elevated my SA experience completely in the best way possible. I felt super safe as a solo female traveler, and felt extra loved by Sila&Bo, the cutest dogs who made this stay even more special. Ronell & Ghe really made me feel right at home. This was my first time in SA all and I gained two new south african friends, and hopefully one day: neighbours! Baaie dankie for one of the best experiences I could have dreamed of. I will be back <3

Byron was extremely attentive to our stay and was always easily reachable. He's very proactive to solve any issues and very kind in communicating with the guests. The clean lady and the security man were both very kind and supportive as well. We had a great help with the bags. The apartment is exactly like in the photos and the views from the balcony are even more impressive. Would definetly recommend and come back when we have an opportunity. Cheers!

Such a beautiful apartment with magnificent views of Table Mountain and Lion’s Head! The location is excellent and a lot of popular sites and attractions are within walking distance or a very short drive away. The apartment was equipped with nearly everything we needed and there was a lot of thought put into small conveniences - such as a generously stocked kitchen cupboard (spices, oils etc.) - great for anyone who wants to cook for themselves. An array of different kitchen appliances was also available! The rooms were clean and well air-conditioned (and both rooms also have stunning views and great light). Pool and gym access, plus parking was also a great bonus! The co-host communicated very well and was willing to help at all times.

Breathtaking views and balm for the soul are absolutely true. Tastefully furnished, cute pool. Sixty-eight steps to get there were a challenge for this 66-year old, but then there is the funicular when you're desperate 😉 Lesley is a friendly and helpful host.

We stayed for nearly four weeks at Alexa’s and it was great. The location in Muizenberg is perfect to explore the complete Cape Area and beyond. Alexa always responded quickly and had many great suggestions for restaurants and hikes and sights. The apartment is super cozy and there’s everything you need. We worked from here too and the wifi is super fast and reliable. We will definitely return and can only recommend Alexa’s place!

We loved our stay at Claudia's apartment. It is such a beautiful space and we felt very at home there. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect if you want to cook your own meals, and sitting out on the back patio with the view of Devil's Peak was definitely a highlight. There is a great coffee shop nearby to which we were repeat customers, and multiple shops and places to eat also within walking distance. We had wondered if the train might be noisy, going past the apartment, but it wasn't at all. We also felt completely safe. Lucille and Jeffrey met us to check in and out, and they are such warm and kind hosts and we really enjoyed chatting with them. We would definitely stay again!

I had a great stay here! The location is awesome, with an incredible view of Table Mountain and an easy walk to a ton of restaurants on Kloof Street. Very nice apartment, very clean with everything you could need for your stay. Host was very responsive and accommodating for check in. It's a great place to unwind after exploring the city, quiet and safe.

Hello. Initially, I was skeptical that the place would be as good as the pictures when I paid for it, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it was even better. I loved the location and the surroundings, especially the stunning Table Mountain that I could see outside my window. When I'm in Cape Town, I've made Tony's residence my second home. I firmly believe that you are the year's best host, Tonny!
