This was a great location for a friends trip! Location was quiet and we loved listening to the waves from the house. Beautiful home and perfect amount of space on the beach!

The property is a very short walk into a beautiful little town on Lake Michigan that had some nice places for dining. There was a deer family we saw each day throughout the day, looking to eat from the apple tree on the property. The home had a large private backyard that would have been great for hanging around the fire pit (which was loaded with wood and ready to be fired up), although we did not use it because of other activities we had. Beds were comfortable. Water pressure and temperature was great. Thermostat allowed us to control the temperature. It's an older home, but the home fit the needs of our group and had all the amenities that one would expect from a host who was easy to reach.

It would be hard to top all of the great reviews that Susan gets, but they are all true! The lake home is beautiful! Well thought out, with a lot of places to put your belongings and food. Guests will enjoy the light coming in from all the windows-it is bright and cheery! The view of Lake Michigan is amazing. There are endless games and activities available. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with dishes and cook wear. Although we can't speak for all the beds, the one in the master bedroom was very comfortable so we can assume they all are. This is the cleanest place that we have ever stayed, and we have stayed at many. It was delightful communicating with Susan.

David's place is lovely! Great location- easy, relaxing, close to the water. The house was very comfortable with some key benefits- the wood-burning stove and bathtub were amazing! Loved it would recommend.

I love the details David added to his home. I loved hanging out in it more than I wanted to go see sites because it was so comfortable and enjoyable. I forgot toothpaste and cotton swabs and he had it supplied. I loved sitting in the living room by the fire place heater and hanging with my family. I lived all his book nooks and unique furniture. David is very kind and accommodating. Loved the town of Port Washington with all of its charm and shops.

Nice place in a great area. Walking distance to everything you could need. Great views from the living room. We would stay here again for sure

We have stayed here before and it is always a pleasure—like staying a real home, cozy and personable. The chocolate cookies are a treat after a long drive, and you can walk down the hill to the lake front in 5 minutes.

Great hosts with a nice apartment, It was everything I remember about living in Port Washington. The older apartment made us feel right at home. Easy to find and within walking distance of downtown Port Washington. Thank you for providing our place to stay

This place is nearly perfect. The space is very charming. The hosts made us feel like friends and the location was amazing. They also have a vineyard onsite. Port Washington is our new favorite getaway. The restaurants and brewery all in walking distance. Treat yourself to this lovely stay, you will thank me. The reason it is “nearly" perfect is that, as it says in their listing, the flight of stairs. As stairs go, not too bad even for an old fart with a hip replacement like me.

In the heart of neat Port Washington, WI lies Amy's lovely Homeport, a thoroughly enjoyable stay that at once upon entering gave me the feel of wanting to spend more time than just a day. The hosts communicated excellently and made me feel very welcome. Outside are many shops, restaurants and the port/lake in easy walking distance. A quiet and restful night did their part to definitely make me want to come back. A big thank you to Amy and Pat for making this possible.

This was a very nice place to stay! Very clean, free of clutter, very comfortable- felt like home away from home! The space is nicely decorated, with special touches from the Aveda Salon Studio 231 downstairs. Everything was well thought out and very comfortable and cozy. I wish we could have stayed longer! We woke up in the morning and walked to the coffee shop for breakfast and enjoyed some time in downtown Port Washington. We will definitely stay here again.
