We came to Bar Harbor for the MDI Marathon, and this ended up the perfect location, just two blocks from the start line. Price-wise it was comparable to any hotels for the four of us and the full kitchen helped us save some time and money by prepping most of our own meals. Having laundry was a huge plus for a longer stay and being able to pack less. Everything was well-maintained and Sara gave us great info and local recommendations before our stay. Would definitely recommend!

We chose Jeff's house in Hallowell for our first trip to Maine because it is conveniently located near the Maine Cabin Masters' Kennebec Cabin Company store and Woodshed Restaurant, the town of Hallowell is quaint, and it's easy to get to Waterville, Cape Elizabeth, Portland, and Camden. We visited all of these places and were fortunate to have beautiful weather for late April. While we didn't use the hot tub and only tried the sauna once, we can definitely recommend this house for skiers. I can only imagine how good the sauna and the electric blankets on the comfortable beds would feel after a cold day on the slopes! Jeff is very friendly and provided recommendations. All around great visit and would stay again on our next trip to Maine.

Second stay at the farm house. Two weeks this time. We just love it here. Plenty of space yet cozy, everything you need, lovely outdoors space. We enjooed watching the chickens, dicks and horse next door. I wish we could stay for months. Thank you, Amy and family!

We chose this adorable house in Rockland for our second annual book retreat! It was the perfect size for the three of us with comfortable accommodations and lots of places to sit and relax and read. The beds gave us some of the best nights sleep we’d had in a while and the living room was great for late night conversations and movies! The location was perfect and we walked into town every day for a little adventure! Alicia provided us with so many incredible recommendations for spots to try in town. One week here just wasn’t enough, and we’re already looking for reasons to come back! Maybe for the Lobster Festival?! Overall, this was a fantastic stay with a wonderful host!

Our stay was absolutely perfect. Robard did everything he could to make us feel welcome. We had a few questions given that we were visiting in the off seasoning and he always responded quickly and helpfully. His place was clean and cozy!

We had an amazing time over valentines day weekend. There was a snow storm and Kent snow blowed around our vehicle to make sure we could get out. The house is very comfortable and peaceful, amazing view of the river and just off the road enough to not be bothered by passing traffic. Definitely recommend!!!!

The home was very welcoming and accommodating for our family of 5. The views were spectacular at sunrise, sunset and during the snowstorm. Bald Eagles and hawks would land in the trees right in front of the house. Also, there was a skating pond down the street my family love to visit almost each evening. There was an alarm going off as soon as we arrived, Debbi was incredibly fast responding and sending someone to check it out clear it up. On the plus someone came and plowed the driveway after the snowstorm it was great. She left a basket of local food and my family ate it up. We are so thankful for our relaxing week and would love to return.

Quiet neighborhood within walking distance of breweries, shops, coffee shops, and water front. Great people in a very supportive, inclusive, city. We had so much fun and created since awesome memories.

We had a great weekend at Alyssa’s place in Portland. The place was very clean, had plenty of space for 3 people and had everything we needed for our weekend. Thanks!!

My sister and I had a great stay at David and Kate’s place . Everything we needed was right at our fingertips and the bed was SO comfortable we wanted to take it with us ! Beautiful surroundings and easy to get everywhere ! Thank you David and Kate for sharing your place with us . Hope to visit again !

Super walkable and great for a weekend stay!

Great apartment for a long weekend . Communication with Rachel was quick, we didn’t need anything once we checked it. Happy we could bring our dogs with us. TY for having us.

We had a fantastic stay at Ryan and Rita’s place. Great location. Quiet neighborhood. Easy to park. Close proximity to great restaurants/shops. Had great sleeps. Immaculate vibes.

Sadie and Laughlin are the best Airbnb hosts we have come across. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The apartment is very clean, has lovely furnishings, is nicely decorated and had everything we needed for a very comfortable 3 and a half day stay in Portland. Both bedrooms are a good size and have incredibly comfortable beds. When we needed help with something, our hosts came around fast to help us. If we are ever back in Portland, we shall gladly book again with them. I would highly recommend this apartment!

Easy to find. The description is accurate. The views are breathtaking. I enjoyed waking up early and sitting on the balcony with a cup of coffee watching the freshmen start their day and head out on their boats. Great walking area.

Great location, great space, great host. A perfect spot for exploring everything in Portland on foot! Deb was great to work with, super responsive, space was quiet and clean and perfect. A Five Star stay for sure!

excellent location which made for a lovely stay. very easy to get in and out with no issues whatsoever. Tons of hot water made multiple showers in a row between users a breeze . TV's in every room worked well for those who needed a break from children shows and was a great addition. lovely stay all around and very glad we came!

Great location, but a lot of money for the quality of the accommodation and size. But very quiet and comfortable.

I’ve been to a few AirBNBs and this by far was a favorite. He had a lot of extra TP, paper towels, bath towels, dish towels, coffee and tea, pillows, blankets and cleaning supplies for both bathroom and kitchen! We’ve been to this area before and it’s so nice. And this apartment is in an amazing area. Tons of shops and restaurants. We didn’t have to drive for the weekend. We were there for a concert at cross insurance arena, and that was only a few minutes walk from the apartment. I will be renting this place out again, thank you for an enjoyable stay.

What a wonderful place in a lovely neighborhood. The condo exceeded our expectations—it was even more beautiful in person. We had a comfortable, happy stay with our small children. Scratch Bakery and an ice cream parlor are right across the street! And the book collection was great. Highly recommend!
