In town to attend a wedding, this house was perfect for my husband and I with our two adult children. The common living areas are downstairs with the three bedrooms upstairs. One full bathroom is upstairs and the other full bathroom is downstairs for convenience. Spacious, clean, and very nicely equipped-the little extras made it easy to see why Nick and Josh are super hosts. I would definitely stay here again.

Seven stars out of five! We have stayed in numerous places in Maine over the years, and given a lot of five star reviews. This one surpasses them all, hence the off the charts grade. It is incredibly well provisioned, spotless, spacious, inviting, and has an enormous porch with a view so lovely it looks fake. You can't even hear your neighbors, let alone see them. We heard loons, crows, and one very belligerent owl, but not once did we hear our neighbors. The only way you will know the tenant is home, is that a car will park opposite on the side of the house from you. The fire pit makes it easy and convenient to host a fire, even if it is only for 45 minutes or so. Kayaks are provided along with life jackets. At night you can see millions of stars. Place is so peaceful and comfortable, we almost didn't make it into the park haha. We will definitely be back!

This place is amazing! So cozy and so comfortable! The lake was beautiful and we made plenty of use of the fire pit and kayaks. Stephen was so kind and responsive and made asking questions easy. I would recommend this place to everyone!

We had an amazing stay at Carol’s place. It was clean, comfortable and in a great location for our daily activities. The house was spacious for 4 adults and one teenager. The screened-in porch with fireplace was impressive and the game room downstairs an appreciated bonus! The kitchen was well-stocked, the bathrooms clean, beds comfortable - we loved our stay! The location in Southwest Harbor is lovely, with good restaurants, grocery store and more nearby. 10 thumbs up from our crew! We hope to return next year!

This was a gorgeous stay with a great location for going to Acadia/Bar Harbor, while still maintaining privacy. I spent several hours during my one night stay admiring the design of the home (interior and architectural). I spent the night on the living room couch with a solid view of the bottom floor and with several large windows facing me, yet I still felt completely comfortable and that I wouldn't be disturbed or intruded upon. I was plenty warm the entire stay with the gas heater barely on. While there are some small details of the home that could use some touching up, *none of it* was a problem and still left plenty to love. I enjoyed sitting on the cut logs outside and listening to the crows and loons in the early morning (~6am). Everything felt as though it was placed with great intent and consideration, but still welcoming enough to get comfortable without worrying about ruining or disrupting it all. I would love to stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

A perfect Thanksgiving Getaway! My family had an unforgettable Thanksgiving at Maria’s property! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home - perfect for a holiday stay. The check in process was seamless and Maria was extremely responsive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. The space was spotless and exactly as described in the listing, and the kitchen was fully equipped making it easy to prepare our Thanksgiving meal! Being able to meet the host’s sweet dog, horses and chickens was a bonus. We’re so grateful to have spent Thanksgiving there and couldn’t have asked for a better host or a more perfect setting. We’d love to return again!

This luxurious cabin was perfect! Walking distance to a beautiful lighthouse and nestled back in the woods. The hot tub was a bonus after the long day of work/play. The kitchen had everything we needed and the living space had ample room. Clean and new furniture. The beds were super comfortable. We'll definately be back.

We had an unforgettable stay at this charming Airbnb on Mount Desert Island during the MDI marathon weekend with our family. The location was idyllic, nestled in a quiet, serene part of the island that truly captured the essence of island living. We loved how peaceful it was, yet it was still close enough to explore the famous lighthouses, adding an extra layer of beauty to our trip. Waking up to the tranquil sounds of nature and taking in the coastal views set the perfect backdrop for our marathon experience. The home was cozy, well-appointed, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was attentive and made sure we had all the information necessary to explore the surrounding area. This place is a hidden gem, and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot to enjoy family time and make lasting memories. Highly recommend for anyone looking to experience the best of Mount Desert Island!

The Nest was beautiful, well appointed, and the attention to design details went above and beyond. Pam has such talent in creating exquisite, comfortable and elegant spaces. Everything was perfect. Her muffins and peanut butter cookies are the best!

This is a great place to stay, even better than it appears in the photos. It was not just clean, it was immaculate - and for an extremely observant nurse - that was awesome. The unit had easy access with a slight gradient path and only two steps - which was very helpful for us as seniors. The firm bed was very comfortable. Barbara was responsive and thought of everything, including having delicious specialty coffee for us - Thanks. She even had a cooler in the closet for us to use when we went to Acadia National Park. Like I said, she truly thought of everything. If we return to this area of Maine, we would love to stay again. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy studio apartment in Camden. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the town center, the harbor, and a variety of restaurants and shops. The beautiful library and other local amenities are close by, making it easy to explore everything Camden has to offer. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, with convenient parking available on a side street away from any busy traffic. Inside, the apartment is charming and comfortable. The gas stove adds a warm, inviting touch, and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is surprisingly spacious for a studio and well-equipped. Overall, this apartment was the perfect spot for a relaxing and convenient stay. Highly recommend!

This is run by a company that is remote, not on site and therefore not familiar with the seasonal changes in terms of closures and what is actually available at a particular time of year.

Nancy greeted us warmly upon arrival, making us feel instantly welcome. Her place is in a quiet neighborhood with ample parking and offers thoughtful touches like muffins, coffee, tea, and bottled water. Prices are extremely reasonable. The space was exceptionally clean, spacious, and well-stocked with extra blankets, pillows, and bath linens. We will definitely stay at Nancy’s again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Pittsfield area.
