Epic stay at a beautiful place. Good comms with India in the run up and Anton helpful during our stay. He also cooked us a beautiful roast lamb dinner which we highly recommend. 5 stars all round. The house is perfectly situated, yes it is a bit tired in places but it only adds to the charm. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms in good condition and the garden an absolute gem. We loved our stay at Amalia’s place in Erinvale Golf Estate. It was squeaky clean (thanks to the lovely Lydia!) and had everything we needed for our stay. We loved how safe it was and the early morning walks around the golf course were just lovely! We also highly recommend the massages at the Erinvale hotel - so relaxing. All-in-all a lovely stay and we’ll definitely be back!

This house is just a dream, so much character from the outside hugged by lush greenery and trees. We loved the clean stylish space inside that immediately puts your mind at ease and adored the furnishings/pictures collected on their travels. The garden is big equipped with sunbeds and chairs and the we enjoyed the pool with mountain views. We enjoyed sitting in front of the fire at night. You really can't beat the location! Located behind Le Quartier Francaise, we loved taking a 3 minute walk to the village where there are so many restaurants. We experienced Yama and Eleven for dinner and loved eating at Terbodore everyday for breakfast. For families, we recommend visiting Pigcasso, as you can feed the animals which is fun and it is beautiful. Jo's beautiful house was absolutely perfect for our family of 4.

The position is beautiful with views in all directions from the third floor and one can hear the sea at night when drifting off to sleep. The living areas and kitchen have every amenity one needs to feel comfortable and and to have a special stay. The house is walking distance from beach, extremely spacious and well appointed. We all had a lovely break. Thank you Jutta for your efforts.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marlicia’s beautiful property in Franschhoek. It was super clean, very well appointed and a great location to explore this wonderful area. Marlicia was a wonderful host. She gave us lots of great recommendations and provided a few nice surprises when we arrived. She made us feel right at home. Would recommend to anyone to stay here.

Such a beautiful place. An awesome setting. The property is very well maintained. All necessary equipment or requirements fully met. Had a close encounter with a snake, which is not unexpected in the mountains. Flies a little troublesome. Again, not unexpected. Lovely pool. Would love to return in winter. Big fireplace. Would be an excellent place to write a book.

It is a fantastic location and the views of lake and mountain are lovely. The host is really responsive and easy to deal with. This is a great house for groups of friends and family wanting to get away. Lots of space and hideaways for larger groups.

This stay was perfect for our group of 7 - even more space than we needed. The house and property are unbelievably beautiful, and it was so relaxing. It’s a relatively easy uber into town, while having privacy and space for your stay. The hosts were very friendly and responsive, making everything easy. Definitely recommend!

Overall had a great stay for our wedding party. The unit is split into two, with one side being for guests and the caretaker on the other side - but the caretaker was very friendly and accommodating. The quiet hours are strictly 10pm, as the neighbours will complain, but noise can be moved inside with all the doors closed after that, but the hosts try to be as accommodating as possible. Overall, had everything it needed and was clean and accessible.

The house was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. Adri was friendly and assisted when needed. The estate is beautiful, safe and has lots to do. The golf carts were a bonus. We really enjoyed going for drives in the afternoon.

We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful house. Megan and Mike were incredibly welcoming. The house was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped and the living and dining areas were perfect for our party of ten. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with fantastic hosts.

Stunning house and garden, stylishly furnished and equipped. Very comfortable with all the amenities you need. We were so relaxed there, that we did not leave the house the whole weekend. Ideal for our multi-generational family get together. A windy weekend in Hermanus, but was more sheltered there, then on beach front, so we were able to enjoy the pool and garden. Jacuzzi was not operational for our stay. Michelle and Corné were responsive and flexible, thank you.

Absolutely gorgeous place. It’s like living in an art gallery. The bedrooms are better than even the best hotel rooms - we don’t even know how the duvets are that fluffy. Penny was so great with early and late checkouts and the on site manager was amazing - sorting out any property niggles immediately. From a design perspective, it’s a bit odd that there’s little to “do” on the side with the views. There’s a patio with some outside furniture but there’s no shade in the afternoon and it could really benefit from something - a hot tub, or a splash pool to keep you enjoying the view while doing holiday things. Also, with it being a new build and considering the cost, I would expect the solar to cover more during load shedding than just essential lighting. Using it to heat the pool would make the pool far more usable. It’s the cleanest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in but on the whole I think it’s too expensive for a 3 bedroom, and a bit light on things like glassware.

Our family of 5 spent a wonderful week in this beautiful house over new years. The house is in a great position in Voelklip - it is very secure and well kitted out. Lovely to sit outside in the shaded garden in the evenings and kids loved the pool. Great hosts and easy check-in and check-out. We will be back!

We were at Villa the cherry with my wife and my 3 kids (14/12/9), the place is fabulous, we have an easy access to best activities around (houses trail, fatbike, shark cage, whales boat, natural caves, natural reserve walks) and the Villa itself is proposing the best view on the bay you will never have. For us in 6 days we have seen 50+ whales just watching from our master bedroom. It makes a big difference. And to add Annick is a tremendous host that facilitates our stay, arranging custom breakfast, and chef at the Villa. Thank you again Annick and I’m definitely recommending this place to all !

We had a wonderful time at Ciscas. The house had everything we needed and more. The pizza oven provided much enjoyed fun, the rooms were neat and well designed and it was great that everyone had on suit bathrooms. The beach is just a walk away but the house provides enough entertaining space to stay in. All in all wonderful stay, id do it again:)

i travel a lot around the world, staying in guesthomes and hotels, this home is the best I have ever been to! Beautiful with tastefully decor👌, the area is safe and upmarket, the beach at my doorstep is priceless🥰. Actually, the pictures don't do it justice! I was there with family of 10, everyone enjoyed themselves. The kids swam to their heart's content at the rock pool and beach. Fatima is very quick to respond. We had a problem with aircons and she was quick to try to fix it. It was an unforgetable stay!

Lovely home and very very well equipped with absolutely everything we needed. Best part was that we had load shedding and the house has a continuous power supply so no down time re power availability.. Dolf and Suzette were perfect hosts and responded within minutes and allowed us a late checkout . Loads of entertainment space, a gorgeous plunge pool(the beach is a short stroll away). We would definately return. Thank yiu for a wonderful long weekend. Only negative was it was too short.....

The view alone makes booking this airbnb worthwhile! Mandy is a wonderful host and is quick to respond to our questions. The house is very comfortable for large groups and the open plan living area/kitchen is great. There are special loadshedding lamps, a gas stove and a generator which makes living with power outages bearable. What a relaxing week!

We stayed one night and really wish we were staying longer! The house is amazing, the grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed exploring the eating and drinking options in the village. Joe and Esther are friendly and provided great suggestions. We enjoyed our stay and if we come back to South Africa in the future this is on our list to return! Thank you for a lovely stay!
