Nestling in a quiet rural setting Hilderstone Stable was converted recently into a contemporary high quality 2 bed cottage. 5 mins north of J35 M6. This cottage is ideally located for exploring the Lake District, Arnside/Silverdale AONB, Leighton Moss and Yorkshire Dales. The settlement of Hilderstone can be traced back to the 13th century. The barn was built originally in c1750. There is still a working farm as part of the 200 acre Hilderstone Farm. A great base for outdoor activities.

One spacious bedroom and a beautiful patio area overlooking a fishing pond. Well behaved dogs allowed.

Making it an ideal base to not only explore the surrounding area, but both the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. It's self contained and sleeps two people . It has a private courtyard garden with seating, a separate kitchen, a lounge with log burner and one dining area, one double bedroom with separate shower room. Off road parking for two cars.

Only 7 miles from the Historic town of Lancaster, 9 miles from the beautiful Kirkby Lonsdale, 6 miles from the gorgeous Morecambe Bay and 2.5 miles from Carnforth which has a variety of local shops. The M6 is only 3.5 miles away so hop on the M6 and make your way to the beautiful Lake District National Park. There are lots of lovely local walks nearby for those who like to explore.
