We really enjoyed our stay. We had three couples. Two with young children and the house and hosts were super accommodating. Would stay here again

Our family travels extensively throughout the year, and have visited the Hot Springs area multiple times. This was our first time staying at this rental or in the Lake Ouachita area. This rental is secluded on a hill overlooking the water. Even though there are neighbors, it feels very private. The porches were are favorite place to drink coffee, grill, or just enjoy the scenery. We spent many a night in the hot tub, and our three daughters loved the downstairs game room and living space. The beds were so comfortable, and the bathrooms were spacious. The entire home is a great size for a family, or even multiple families. The rental was well appointed with everything we needed for our visit. Also, even though you are secluded you are less than 20 minutes from all the Hot Spring attractions, and less than 15 minutes from Wal-Mart in case you need anything. It is a beautiful home, and Eric was gracious host who tended to our every need. We will definitely be back next year.

Such a beautiful little cabin! I took my teenage niece so we were in and out of the cabin multiple times a day. It was very conveniently located. We used Catherine’s recommendations on things to do/places to eat. The hot tub with the outdoor TV was a huge win when it was raining.

Great place to stay! In the middle between Ron Coleman’s mine and hot springs. Loved how there were a lot of towels and amenities. I didn’t have any problems with the Airbnb, but the town was sort of a let down since everything closes at 6pm. Will definitely come again for mining.

All of the beds were very comfortable, which made for great rest after busy days. Our kids had a blast in the game room, and we all enjoyed the selection of games available in the house. James was a wonderful host—he checked in with us and made sure everything was going smoothly. The location is ideal—you get the peaceful lakefront setting while still being just a short drive from downtown Hot Springs. We had an amazing trip and would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I were just looking for a romantic weekend getaway for our anniversary and this was the perfect place! Very private, secluded backyard and patio area. I especially loved that the hot tub was proximal to the fireplace which made for a very romantic evening. The house is beautiful and has everything you need. It is right around the corner from everything in town, so it’s conveniently located.

We had such a fun time at this cute little cabin. We used the hot tub multiple times and even got to enjoy a little rain storm while in it. The decor is very cute and cozy. Great spot for couples and even has a loft with a extra bed if you have little ones with you. We enjoyed the scenery and location was very close to great restaurants. Highly recommend Grateful Head Pizza, Chocotaw Landing Casino, Fish Tales Winery, and Hochatown Coffee Central. We will definitely be back to this cabin as it had everything we wanted🙂

This was our third time coming up to the Chipmunk Cottage for a relaxing getaway and it’s just as we remember it each year. The cabin is nice and secluded yet easy to find and has an amazing view from the back porch. Our host Billy always responsive and helpful from check in to check out. We can’t wait to come back again the following year already!
