I had such a wonderful experience staying here during my trip to Cooperstown! I was looking for a peaceful and relaxing weekend, and this place exceeded all my expectations. The photos don’t do it justice – the house is absolutely beautiful, combining both modern and classic charm. At night, the house and walkway lit up so beautifully, creating a peaceful, serene atmosphere. The quiet, with the sounds of wildlife, was incredibly calming. The bed was so comfortable, and the kitchen was top-notch – everything was perfect. I honestly can’t think of a single thing to complain about. I will definitely be making this my go-to spot for future trips and would highly recommend it to anyone. A big thank you to the host for making this such a memorable stay! And to think, it was a rainy weekend – I can only imagine how stunning it would be if the weather were beautiful.

Michael is an amazing host. This is the second time we have stayed at Lake Albanese. The only problem we had was when we arrived, the people before us had left several bags of garbage on porch and the cleaning crew had never showed up so the inside was a mess. I want to emphasize that this was not Michael’s fault but was unfortunate and a little inconvenient. Good thing this particular property had a loft cabin next door that we were able to hang out in until the cleaning crew arrived and finished. I will definitely stay at Lake Albanese again.

We had an incredibly relaxing stay at Katherine's place, which felt like a private sanctuary! Booked last minute for a post-holiday getaway, everything exceeded our expectations. Katherine’s attention to detail and passion for hospitality are evident in every aspect of the home. The space is beautifully decorated, with comfortable furniture and a well-stocked kitchen—better than any other Airbnb we've stayed at. The spa facilities, including a private sauna with a stunning view, were the highlight. We also enjoyed a magical evening in the hot tub under the stars. Katherine’s commitment to guest comfort is exceptional, and we’re already planning our next visit!

This cabin was everything we wanted and more! The wifi worked exceptionally well - both of us were able to work from the cabin without interruptions. It is also a nice touch that the lakeside hut has wifi. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The real stunner is the lake access with the screened in gazebo. Highly recommend!

This was a absolute gem of an Airbnb. The location was everything my wife and I imagine for our kids to grow up in one day. The plot of land the home sat on was one from a fairytale. Melody was a great host. We will 100% be back to this location.

The Oasis Chalet was the perfect escape from our busy life! It was exactly as pictured, and gave us the relaxation we desperately needed! The home was beautiful and provided everything we needed to unwind and disconnect for a little bit. The bed was 10/10 comfort and all the aesthetics of the house was refreshing! Thank you Joel & Viv for providing such a comfortable space for us to enjoy!! Highly recommend!

My husband, friends, and I are truly enamored with Jacob's place. The house is beautiful, and the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and inviting. We always have a wonderful time there. This was our third visit, and we can easily envision many more to come in the future.

This was a perfect weekend away. The Teal Cabin is situated on such a beautiful, quiet mountainside, facing the woods. It snowed the night we arrived and we woke up to the most beautiful snow covering the trees and deck. The fireplace made the cabin so cozy and we just really enjoyed sitting by it and reading, listening to the Catskills and Hudson Valley radio stations on the Bose atop the fridge, and knitting. We’ve been to this area many times so we visited our favorite bookstores in Hobart and some favorite spots in Stamford. Definitely be careful of all the mud when it’s wet and slick, but otherwise, the neighbors are friendly and the cabin is lovely. Just wish we could’ve stayed longer but we hope to come back when it’s a bit warmer and maybe to see the leaves in Autumn. Hao was responsive, helpful, and gave great directions for finding the place. Loved our stay there!

Cattle Creek Cabin is a cozy gem in a beautiful surrounding. Incredibly peaceful location with an amazing view. The cabin is warm and inviting, a great space to spend quality time with a small or large group of friends. It is clear a lot of though and care has been put into this house. The kitchen is large and well stocked with cookware making it a perfect space to cook and dine with friends. Clean and comfortable bedrooms, with plenty of space for friends. The host was responsive and lovely to communicate with. I can't wait for a return trip to Cattle Creek Cabin!

The best weekend getaway space for when you need to be one with the nature. Super secluded. The property is well maintained, the perfect balance of seclusion while having all the amenities required for a comfortable stay. Gerry and Don were very responsive and helpful at every stage. The space was cleaned and heated before we arrived. Both Don and Gerry were friendly and proactive. Definitely recommend staying here.

My recent stay in Bloomville, NY, nestled in the Catskills, was an absolute gem. This cozy cabin, near the Delaware River and a charming farm, offered a unique and unforgettable experience. The outdoor shower, surrounded by nature and the sound of the river, was a true highlight. The landscape was simply breathtaking! Oh, and the fresh, clean air was everything!#airquality 🙌🏼 What a welcome escape from the city, and it was the perfect place to rejuvenate! Honestly — what truly made this stay exceptional was the attentiveness and hospitality of Nicole and her welcoming family. Tanner's warm greeting and Terri's generosity during her garage sale made me feel so cared for! I embarked on my three-hour journey back home to beat traffic earlier than I wanted, but I did so with cherished memories of the beautiful Catskills farming community. This trip was a perfect blend of natural beauty, country charm, and genuine hospitality. I would absolutely recommend + return 💎💗

This was perfect. Atop a field in the middle of nowhere we had what seemed like the world to ourselves. With amazing views all around and fields to walk thru and explore, this was just what we needed to unplug. We will be back.

We were in town for baseball and wanted a place we could get away and relax between games. It was an easy ride to the ball park and Cooperstown. We absolutely loved the location, it was such a great spot to getaway. My dog had the week of her life swimming every chance she got and my kids loved the fishing. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us Daniel. We loved it!

My family and I stayed at cabin for Thanksgiving and had a great time. We unfortunately lost power for a few hours because of the snow storm but Matt was very responsive and made our stay comfortable. He brought over extra lamps and even brought over cookies and seeds for our kids. The power was back up later that evening. They made our Thanksgiving extra special and we will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Like many of the other reviews, this place is better in person! it is secluded but feels very safe, lots of space to release your anxiety from wherever you are traveling, there’s abundant amount of materials and things to do provided by Theresa, very responsive and the cabin was decorated with a lot of care and attention to detail and you will feel it as soon as you walk in. The cabin is also very clean and feels it was built with good and new materials. We went to the cobleskill flea market and it was amazing. We will definitely look to come back in a different season to enjoy the heat or maybe the frozen pond!

We LOVED the cabin in the woods! It was cozy, comfortable and scenic. We just got home and I already miss it. If you're looking for the perfect place to decompress, read a book, and relax then this is the place. It also was very convenient with all the fun that Cooperstown has to offer. Mark was a wonderful host with excellent recommendations, quick response and he made sure we felt right at home. We will DEFINITELY be back!

Despite best laid plans, sometimes the unexpected happens and there's nothing anyone can to about it other than to choose to respond with grace and helpfulness. Marina did just that for a stay that didn't happen, and for that reason am giving her 5 stars. It was a huge disappoint to come up to Marina's place for close to a month to write a manuscript and discover upon arriving in the town that circumstances well beyond Marina's control made her cancel the stay at the very last minute. Yikes! Anxiety, fear, panic! Marina stayed with me the whole day and evening finding comparable local places, pleading my case to various hosts, and making a recommendation that was spot on. I couldn't be happier with my new choice (and will review it next). We've all been there, when things fall through and people are disappointed, and there's nothing we can do. Marina showed care, kindness, local knowledge and determination to help me whilst in the middle of her own crisis. Thank you Marina! !

Beautiful location. You can see the stars so clearly. Large expanse of wilderness that helps you to disconnect from the busyness of the world around you. Phone reception was fine (if you still need it). Mornings on the front patio or back porch are so peaceful. Bring an extra pair of shoes if you want to take a morning walk through the dew-covered grasses. Plenty of room for people to sleep — we brought our own pillows but there is an abundance of them supplied, so we used some as they were comfortable. Beds were soft but comfortable, as well. Kitchen stocked with all the necessities, including coffee. It’s a long way off the beaten path, down multiple unpaved roads (but overall the roads are good, at least when the weather is agreeable).

We had a lovely getaway at Brandon’s cabin, it gave us the peace and solitude we were looking for! The cabin is really lovely and we felt like we were completely at home. Would definitely stay again!
