Dewayne's home was not only great, so was he. We had made the reservation an hour or so before we got to the house and he was on top of everything. Very responsive, very kind, great host. Definitely would stay again!!

Charming place with everything you need labeled and at your fingertips. It was the perfect spot to getaway and unwind. Sarah and Kasey were excellent hosts.

The host was friendly and responsive. The space was as described. It felt homey and it was clean. I would stay there again.

We loved Tamera's place. It felt as if we we're at home. The check in & out process is so simple & easy. We had everything we needed (trash bags, toilet tissue, towels, etc.) The cabins location was perfect. We actually came to Michigan to surprise our daughter whom we haven't seen in 8 years. She lives just a driveway away. So perfect! We can't wait till we book our stay again, hopefully sooner than I think. Thank you for opening your home to us. We appreciate it. Mahalo & Aloha, we're sad to be leaving but Hawaii we're coming home! God bless ❤️

Rachel’s house was comfortable from the start. Everyone including the pets found the house to be fun. The children loved the ability to fish right from the pier and to get out on the water with the 3 waterboard choices. The fire pit was nicely located being right outside the back door instead of down by the water. We found the Harrison location to fun as well. We will be back to Rachel’s house and Harrison.

It was a great stay, the house is close to the lake, couple of minutes walking, nice and peaceful surroundings. Clean and comfortable.

Jonathan is a great host, respond to my questions on a timely manner. The place is the cleanest and very homey. Will definitely recommend.

Cheryl’s home was great for our family with young grandchildren. The sand provided hours of building and pretending fun. The sandy beach and shallow water depth was perfect for all the children from 2-8. They really loved jumping off the dock. The kayaks and paddle boats gave us time on the water. The large level grassy backyard was excellent for softball and tag. The bunk room was great for the grandkids to sleep together, leaving 4 bedrooms for adults. There was a pack n Play and a high chair for the youngest. There were many toys and games to play. The house hade cute decore with special touches to welcome us everywhere. We also appreciated the washer and dryer. The leather sectional was cozy for all of us. We also loved the fire pit for s’mores in the evening. We would like to have had more beach seating. The last two plastic Adirondack chairs were fatally cracked. I’m sure those are on Cheryl’s list to replace soon. Thank you for sharing your home with us Cheryl.

This is our 3rd year staying at Alan’s lakeside cottage and yet again the best place to stay in Canadian Lakes! Beautiful views, clean, cozy and comfortable home. Love that it’s dog friendly and our pups love the beach and lake! We love the new bathroom remodels! Highly recommend.

Cozy stay with lots of amenities! Peaceful and private. Felt right at home. Kids enjoyed the pool at the club nearby which was about a 10min drive. Host was very responsive and accommodating!

Our stay at Frank's place could not have been more comfortable or relaxing. The inside was super clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for the week. We liked the spacious, open living/dining/kitchen area, nice furniture, and comfortable beds. But we especially enjoyed the large front deck, huge umbrella that kept us shaded, pocket views of the lake, grill/griddle combo, outdoor shower, and having the pickleball courts a short walk away. Frank is a super friendly and very responsive host. He genuinely wanted to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay, which we did! We look for to renting from him again next year for 2 weeks! Thanks for everything, Frank!

Franks place was exactly what I was looking for. Close to family nearby, space for my kids to run, and a house that felt like home. Couldnt recommend it enough! We did not end up using many amenities he had to offer, but they were readily available to us if we wanted. Will look foward to staying again in the future.

Absolutely adore this little spot in the middle of the Michigan woods. This place is the perfect getaway from the outside world. SO peaceful and relaxing. We can't wait to come back and check out more of the surrounding areas.

The stay was great! We were simply looking for a quiet place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Chicago. This home fit the bill perfectly. Quiet, peaceful and even though there are neighbors in the distance, we never saw or heard them (those may be vacation homes). The true value for my family is the fact that the place is dog-friendly. Makes it a true spot for a family vacation. Home has a vintage charm that we actually enjoyed. Plus, it’s priced to take that into consideration. It was money well spent in my opinion.

Sarah came through in a big way when our reserved campsite at a nearby park was... undesirable. I booked an opening on Sarah's property on a whim and shortly received several helpful and welcoming messages. Regarding the site(s), here's what you might like to know: 1) The description undersells the site. The paths were full of native wildflowers. There is a lot of pleasant activity on the river - wildlife in the morning/evening and tubing parties in the afternoon. The campsite is adjacent to a rails-to-trails path so there is a great opportunity for walking & biking. 2) The sites are spaced at a reasonable distance apart from each other and would be ideal for a group (renting several sites). We had a couple camping next to our site, which turned out to be a good experience. However, that could depend on how mindful neighbors are with music volume, etc... 3) Descriptions of the riverside sites being in the sun are accurate - I'd recommend a canopy of some sort for shade relief.

We had a great weekend with friends at Robert’s place. The location is private and peaceful. The house is big and comfortable with lots of things to do! Would definitely recommend :)

Beautiful tiny home in Sears, MI! Awesome place to relax and disconnect from technology. The home looked even better in person than in pictures!

Cozy, inviting cabin with a fantastic view over the river and the woods beyond, with no cabins across the river. Very clean, and fantastic communication -- I'd give them 6 stars on communication if I could. We had a minor hiccup with the coffeemaker, and within a half-hour of contacting them, the problem was more than resolved. Comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen. Outdoor firepit AND indoor fireplace, which was great when it got cold and windy our second day.

Exactly what I was looking for. Perfect place to get away from the noises of the city. I enjoyed my stay very much. The place is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by nature, very relaxing. Plus watching the deer family walking by every evening was a bonus. The Chalet is neat, cozy and beautiful, you can enjoy the view of nature even from the inside. Robert is an amazing host.
