What a beautiful house and lovely hosts! We had the most peaceful getaway at this home. The sound of the river is so calming. We had so much fun by the fire pit, in the game room, in the hot tub, and walking the trails. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and more. Plenty of fire fixings are provided. The beds, pillows and linens are all comfy cozy. Loved all the thoughtful details, for humans and dogs!

This is the second time we have rented form Marv. It’s a great location and lots of room to spend time with family.

Renting this condo did not disappoint. Extremely clean, spacious, cozy and Debbie responded quickly to my questions. Would highly recommend staying here!

Love, love, love the Mermaid Escape! The house is so adorable and feels like a home away from home. The location is amazing! It's just a 5 min walk to the beach and on the way you pass a general store (which has about everything including firewood for the beach), a Mexican restaurant, and a brunch place. If you need anything else, it's just a 5 min drive away. The jacuzzi and fire pit on the deck are divine, and the two large soaking tubs put this place over the top! The owner, Lynnet, was super responsive and sweet. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to feel like they are at a home-away-from home while also on a vacation. If you are looking for a beach house that can accommodate a group, just steps from the beach, you can find it at Pelican Point. A large table upstairs is a great spot to gather for meals or games. The downstairs family room has plenty of seating for movies or streaming. With a kitchen upstairs and downstairs there is plenty of room in the refrigerator, and two ovens for cooking. We had 7 people, who all slept comfortably, with extra beds left over in the bunk room. The hosts, Patrick and Elizabeth were accommodating and generous in answering our questions. We had a great time and will be back again.

Absolutely adored this place! So many extras. Beautiful and open. I will be recommending this place to everyone who needs a good place for larger groups and families. Everything was fantastic.

This is a beautiful and peaceful place. We were able to host a dinner for our complete family using the lovely and well appointed kitchen. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep and our grandfur was welcomed.

It was extremely pleased with the apartment. It was clean, roomie, and was walking distance to the ocean. It was very well stocked. It even had chairs to take outside to the beach, although we did not use them. I would definitely return to this location and would recommend it to anyone staying in Gold Beach.
