The Wallowa Lake Chalets are situated between Wallowa Lake and the Eagle Cap Wilderness. These Chalets have an open floor plan and were designed to encapsulate the natural surrounding beauty. The decks of the Chalets stand 26 ft above the ground creating some of the most surreal views that can be found anywhere in Wallowa County. River House! Right on the banks of the Nehalem with creeks on both sides. Our location is just a mile off of Hwy 26 & 22 miles from the coast Hwy 1. We have nicer weather here with swimming and fishing right on the property. Our location is close to neighbors and a small grocery, but once in the house you will be facing the river for fishing, swimming and lolling about. There is a little cottage that we live in so you might see my wife and I puttering around, but we respect your privacy.

It is in dark sky country, you can see the Milky Way with your naked eyes from the back porch. I find peace and beauty in the surrounding landscape. The house is beautiful and comfortable inside out, fully equipped on 1800 SF.
