This was our second trip to The Rocky Whale in the last six months. We love it here. For us, the location is incredible. We spend as much time on the beach possible and being able to cross the street to the dune path and be at the ocean in less than 5 minutes is incredible. Low-tide tide pools? Check. Entire groups of seals? Check. Eagles? Check. Milky Way on a clear night? Also check! We are grateful for the ability to bring our dogs and the big open space downstairs to be able to house their crates. The bed/bath/kitchen has always been clean and comfortable and when the storms come through being able to hang out in the big living space upstairs and keep ourselves entertained (tv… storm… games.. etc) has come in handy. The kitchen is well appointed. We eat in when we stay here and there is nothing we haven’t been able to handle (sometimes a little improvisation is needed!) We were never able to find the tv remote on our second trip… but there is an app for that.

Our family stayed for two nights and had a blast watching movies, playing games and walking on the beach. House has a beautiful view of the bay and the bridge. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked.

Great stay at the very nostalgic Alpine Chalets! John and Heather were excellent hosts and made our stay wonderful - the perfect spot for great Oregon coast trip!

Such a lovely weekend at the coast! Cottage is incredibly charming with easy access to the beach. Was great for our family with a toddler. We would come back for sure!

Carol was an amazing host, very responsive and offered early check-in! The home was super comfy and housed our 8 woman book club well. Really loved the quiet, the hot tub, and the short walk onto the beach. Would definitely stay again!!

We loved staying here. Beautiful view lovely little beach. My son loved exploring. I got to have my coffee and watch the waves. Clare was very communicative. We had everything we needed and felt very comfortable. We hope to visit again sometime.

What an amazing place! This is the perfect spot to relax on the coast. Glenna's beach cottage was clean, cozy, and the view can't be beat! We loved the quiet neighborhood, easy access to Gleneden beach, Lincoln City and Depoe bay. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches that helped us and our dogs settle right in. Glenna has a whole binder of useful local info and recommendations and our dogs loved getting to play with some of the toys that were left for canine guests. We're so glad we found this stay and look forward to visiting again in the future!

We cannot describe how memorable our experience was! The Airbnb is perfect. This is by far the best view we’ve had. We got engaged in this city and the house was exactly what we needed to make it special! Anissa is the best Airbnb host we’ve had. She helped with everything to make the occasion special and provided a lot of local recommendations and a lots of goodies! Helped us with Dinner reservations too! We will come back again for sure!

We have previously stayed in Jane's unit. The view and access to the beach are unbeatable. We love walking for coffee and delicious food in Nye Beach. It's also easy to make meals in the kitchen. This unit has no steps/stairs which makes for easy access. Jane is very responsive and helpful. We will definitely stay again.

Our stay at Matthew’s was lovely. Olivia beach is a great area and we had a great time hiking God’s thumb!

Debbe's house was amazing. the beds were very comfortable. everyone had a television in their own room. she had absolutely everything you'd need. would highly recommend.

Perfect getaway for my husband and I. We had a blast and enjoyed our stay! This was a perfect little condo for the two of us and we loved being so close/walking to all the little shops. Will have to come back in the future 😁

This is a great place, I’ve stayed twice. Love the onsite parking, hot tub on the balcony, kitchen with everything needed. It’s very close walk to the beach, about a block away. Activity room only has a pool table and TV, would be cool to see another pool table or shuffle board added.

Very nice little place; exactly as advertised. Great location, very close to Nye beach, restaurants and shops. Amazing view! My wife and had mentioned we should get a pair of binoculars to take but we didn’t. When we arrived, we found a pair of binoculars on the table at the window that overlooked the beach and ocean. A very nice touch! Great bed and mattress. We slept very comfortably. The ceiling fan was great. The kitchen had more than we needed. The shower was great. Great Roku tv, which is easy to use. Nice couch and pillows. Good WiFi. Nicely decorated. They’ve really maximized the space nicely. 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a small, but classy place on the beach.

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving at the Heron House! The location was great - walking distance to town and to a small beach at the mouth of the river. The beds were comfortable and the kids had a fun time trying out the various sleeping nooks. The kitchen had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving meal. We even got in a round of tennis at the nearby courts. Wish we had visited in the summer to swim in the river. Would definitely stay again!

The home we stayed in was beautiful and had more then enough room for everyone in our party. Any questions we had were answered immediately . Simply wonderful home literally in the middle of the sand dunes on the beach. Fantastic beach home and super communications with the owners. Don’t miss the halibut fish and chips at Luna in Yachats or Seal Rock, plus outstanding restaurants in Newport and amazing beach hikes at Thor’s Well and Seal Rock. Simply a fabulous week!

This home provided a perfect space to enjoy a weekend at the beach. The living space is comfortable, modern, and suits the surroundings. It was great to enjoy the sound of the ocean from the couch (as well as the hot tub). Everything is available within a short drive - Great food, grocery, etc.

We had a wonderful time, the beach access is unmatched, endless entertainment for the kids. Compared to most airbnb’s, very clean, comfortable beds, and also appreciated the amenities. Host was nice enough to accommodate check in time too. Would definitely stay again in the future, highly recommend!

Almost out of town, which made it very peaceful. Great eateries within a few miles. Try Grumpy's for a great breakfast but if you order the #1 be prepared to eat for a couple days. The pancakes were so big I would have had to start a week earlier to finish them. Loved the place, everything you could need that you might have left at home, was available. I've stayed at five star hotels that weren't this nice. I kept waiting for someone to come say it was time for my massage.

Had a great stay at Dee’s place for Easter with family from Wisconsin. Cozy home with breathtaking views.

Monica’s house was very nice. It was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with most anything you would need. The location gives you easy access to the beach and the little development it is in was quiet and secure. We had a lovely stay. I would recommend Monica’s house to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing stay by the beach.

We enjoyed our stay for Spring Break. The property looked just like the pictures very clean, nicely decorated and private. We didn't have any issues with the heating system. The thermostat worked like any other and we set it to our comfort zone. The home was fully equipped and I appreciated the extra items in the bathroom (since I forgot a showercap). There was plenty of space for us to be together and have alone time. We'll definitely book here again!

Had a wonderful time at Hello Ocean with family from out of town. The most beautiful house I’ve ever been in and will cherish our memories here!
