Shelley & Graham were amazing hosts, incredibly welcoming and very knowledgeable of the local area. They made our stay in Paihia feel like home away from home, and the guest suite was more than we could have expected ! We will definitely be staying there next time we are in town !

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and peaceful Airbnb! The location was serene, surrounded by nature, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The space was clean, thoughtfully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Lovely stay, highly recommend Lil's place. The location is awesome, so relaxing, comfortable bed, everything you need for a great stay is provided, love there is a full size fridge, BBQ, washing machine and dryer amongst other essentials. Lil is very helpful and there is plenty of information about walks, where to go and what to see. Being able to walk across the road to the water each day was a bonus and the views from the unit are forever changing as the tides come and go and the sun rises and sets. Some days there are cattle next door at the fence. I highly recommend staying and will return in the near future.

The house was perfect for the five of us. It has lots of space, the hosts were very generous with the condiments and the space was light, comfortable and really clean and tidy. The wi fi was also brilliant!. While the house is nice and peaceful it is a short drive to the shops and about 10 minutes from the beach. We didn’t find this a problem and Leone and Mark were awesome to deal with.

A nice spacious bach with plenty of room for the kids. It has most of the mod-cons you'd expect, but also retains the "Bach" feeling very well. It's in a great location, with the boat ramp very close by, and beautiful coast/beaches within an easy walk. Harvey was great to deal with, and very responsive.

Whilst it is a modest home, it has everything needed for an affordable, relaxing and enjoyable time away. Couple minutes walk to a lovely beach, kiwi and other native birds literally across the road, host guided us on the first night and was full of knowledge. A real treat that the kids (and parents) really enjoyed. House has all the amenities you would expect. We self catered and had all we needed. Good shower, washer & dryer, good deck with sea views, comfortable living area and comfy beds. Really was great value for money and would happily stay again. If you want 5 star there’s plenty in the area at 5 star prices, but this place offers fantastic bang for buck (save dollars and use for a tour or activity). Absolutely stunning home. If we come back we are definitely staying here again. Such a comfortable home. Super clean. Everything you need in a home plus so much more. A lovely home with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Come for the home stay for the view! A spectacular vista, from the Whiria Pa, across the harbour to the golden sand dunes. Also, a great selection of books to while away the hours 🙂 We had the generous bonus of using the down stairs spa as there were no guests. perfect!

Unique location above the marina. It was great to spend time on the deck watching the comings and goings of all the boats. The place was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The Marina Cafe across the carpark had great meals that we ate there two nights in a row. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

For a winter break it really was perfect. Best spot ever. The best part....The people! Friendly, helpful. Kind. Every eatery was great. Op shop for fishing clothes too! Had great fishing with " Buckos" Dont miss it! Will return. Thankyou. BnM

It was a lovely relaxing spot to spend a week in a rural setting with sea views out to the Poor Knights islands. A large property, accessed off a private road so very secluded and peaceful. Handy location half way between Matapouri Bay and Tutukaka, although you do need a car to go anywhere. Kitchen was very well equipped including basic supplies. Access to an indoor swimming pool, ability to charge the EV, and use of the laundry was a bonus. The hosts were very welcoming on arrival and explained the facilities and beach access path. Special touches were a bottle of wine and locally made nut brittle on arrival, and acknowledgement of our wedding anniversary which was during our stay. Annette and Bianca were super helpful and responded promptly to any questions.
