Place was very nice

We were four families with children and found the place to be very nice and convenient to the city center.The house is a old British bungalow with nice views of the city. Mr Rohit took care of all our needs and provided a good hospitality. I would recommend this place for larger groups as you will have the entire place for yourselves , helps with privacy as the common areas are shared.

woww!!! what a mesmerizing view that was, when we woke up (even if we had missed the sunrise). we had booked the morning glory and had an awesome private fireplace. the garden view and front view both were mesmerizing. I had also gone through all the reviews so already confirmed with host before going there, about bad locks and bad water but I found exactly how he described that they have fixed the issues and I found that the new locks have been added there and water was also not red. the only thing is wifi doesn't work in the rooms, but in common area it works smoothly. the jio network also doesn't work, so be prepared for that before itself. you will be in the lap of nature totally without any outside disturbance. Even we were thinking to go to ooty only to spend more days at this property just to chill, we couldn't stay this time more than a day. Regrets :(

Fantastic host and a beautiful place. The property boasts a scenic garden with plenty of space for your furry friend to run around. The food is reasonably priced, and the washroom is clean. It’s a delight to wake up and take a stroll around the property. Highly recommended!

Highly recommended! This place is a gem in Coonoor. And the owner is great guy! Right from getting to the property, the actual room, cleaninnes and the magical views from the property - all this were a delight for us. Additionally, the caretaker Mr. Guna is a helpful and responsive person for all your needs during your stay. The owner, Mr. Gerald, helped with some nice local suggestions and transport contacts. P.S. - Do try the fresh Dosas served in the morning breakfast, they're amazing!

Had a wonderful and peaceful stay at this beautiful property hosted by Mr Byram. Thankyou for accommodating us. everything was as shown in the pictures and even more beautiful in real. The staff were always there and took care of us they guided Us on where to go got us transport gave us well cooked homely food. definitely going back there👍

Abdul was go to guy for any help. We are extremely satisfied with the quality of food provided. Through out our stay we didn't go out for dinner as we ordered from kitchen and it was really delicious. My family loved it. Abdul has good local contacts, since it was peak season, I hired a call driver (Vijay) for 2 days given by Abdul and since Vijay was local guy, he was very helpful in taking to places and you can forget about tensions of parking your car and he knows all the traffic free routes and there are few routes only local cabs or local drivers are allowed to take. If any one is travelling in your own car, I strongly recommend you can hire local driver. Food - 5/5 Stay - 4.5/5 (height of ceiling is low in the bathroom if you are 5.9' ) Abdul thank you for your services and if you are looking for home based food you can order from the kitchen.

The place was very peaceful. The breakfast was scrumptious. The host was very helpful and was able to guide very well. The place was very clean and totally loved it.

We booked the one with living room and stayed for 5 days, the stay was very comfortable, swiggy delivers there, you got Netflix and a very clean bathroom, Zuhaina was so sweet to us recommending good places to eat and see. The WiFi works well, if you wish to work from there it’s a plus! Coming back to this place after the treks and sightseeing was heavenly.

If someone waiting for a perfect stay with peace, full of green lust and enjoy a great home food then definitely check in to this place without second option And the host is always responsive and friendly, they are having good cook who cooks home food as per our order I'll recommend this stay greatly

I think one cannot say much about this place. It has to be experienced. The house, the view, the people and the food. Anything I might say, might not compare to actually staying here and experiencing the love and care that Jose and Sindhu put into running the place. On the first day, we had the fluffiest dosa (we kept asking the recipe!) with really tasty sambar and Pongal. On the second day, we had really nice appam and stew (which took us right to Kerala!) along with ghee roasted bananas and mangoes. Do not forget to try their homemade jams and chai! I had thought I was not a chai person for here I am, carrying 2.5kg of the most marvellous tea back home. There are lots of trails around the house where one can experience really beautiful views and the culture of the place. It is one of the best spots from where one can experience Coonoor. Calm, peaceful and beautiful views. One of the mornings, we were greeted by a wild bison. Difficult to leave. Hope to be back soon.

Our stay at Stumpfields Honeysuckle was truly memorable! Nestled in beautiful natural surroundings, the place offers a peaceful retreat with lush greenery all around. The breakfast was fantastic—fresh, delicious, and a great way to start the day. We also loved the friendly dog on the property, who made our stay even more special. Hari, the manager, was extremely helpful and ensured we had everything we needed. The rooms and common areas were spotless, which we really appreciated. That said, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. If you’re coming in a four-wheeler, the road leading up is quite rough. The staircase to the first floor felt a little risky, so caution is needed. Also, the water in the shower was a bit muddy at times. I felt right at home here. I stayed for two days, and it was like being part of one big happy family. The place was super cozy, exactly like in the photos—what you see is what you get. I even caught one of the best sunrises of my life. A friend ended up joining me for the trip, so I asked Maria if he could stay in my room. She kindly explained that it might ruffle a few feathers with the other guests, which really showed how thoughtful they are. Thankfully, Jose Uncle went the extra mile and helped find him another spot. The breakfast was a feast for the senses—not just delicious, but served with so much care by Sindhu Aunty, like a mother’s touch. One night, we sat around for candlelight stories with Jose Uncle, and he shared some tales that were the icing on the cake. Plus, I had the best company with two other couples, and we made memories to last a lifetime.

Very nice and cozy case. Beautiful surroundings. Right in the lap of nature. You will enjoy if you want to have time off and relax. Sashi was very helpful and just a call away in case you need anything. Just one suggestion: infrastructure of the rooms can be improved.
