This was the first time renting a cottage on its own private Island for me and my group. We did not know what to expect and were very excited about this new experience. Jan has been super great at communicating and answering all my questions. The experience was an amazing one and left us with wonderful memories. If you love, nature and serenity this is definitely the place. It’s been ages since I’ve seen this many stars in the sky. The cottage itself has everything you need and a great layout with open concept kitchen for socializing with your group of people. We all really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Jan!

Great rustic cabin for 5 fisherman. Great location and great fishing as well. Lads want to return next year.

We had an amazing stay at Brian's. Cottage was equipped with everything we needed. Very clean and spacious. We did alot of fishing and caught many fish. Morrison Lake is beautiful and clean. Loved to hear the call of the loon that swam in the lake. Brian answered any questions we had promptly. We would recommend this beautiful island cottage

Our group really enjoyed staying at this cabin. The location is great, basically a few minutes boat ride to Kenora and anything you might need in terms of supplies. Once on the island, it feels very secluded and private. I would definitely recommend this place.

It was our 9th wedding Anniversary and we were looking to get away from our busy lives for a weekend. Our entire stay on Garden Island was above and beyond anything we could of imagined experiencing. The Bunkie is perfect size and stocked with all necessities. Tranquil, serenity, peace, nature, Thank you so much Maxim for your brilliant hospitality from the moment we met you until we departed. Our family of 4 loved staying on the island! It was definitely rustic living, but the cabin had everything necessary to cook, sleep, and enjoy the island comfortably. The scenery was beautiful and we spent much of our time in, near, or on the water. Donna provided a canoe and we brought our own inflatable paddle board. Both were in use often during our stay. The upstairs of the house would get warm on hot days, but cooled down significantly at night. The beds were comfortable and we had some excellent nights of sleep during our stay. Our dog vacationed with us and she was so happy to run free and wade in the water all day, every day. Donna was an excellent host. She was always available to answer questions. She communicated with us consistently and was flexible when we arrived later than expected. Staying by ourselves on an island was a very cool experience and we will fondly remember this unique and special place for years to come! Thank you Donna!

Wow - we had an amazing experience on the Island. Ray is a great host, so helpful from the moment you book and all the way through our stay. He picks you up from the dock, and takes you to his beautiful little island with a great, clean and well kept cottage. The island is a special place, interesting to explore - great to swim, kayak, canoe, paddle board. The cottage is very clean, the kitchen has nearly everything you could want, bathrooms are pristine. Ray will take great care of you during your stay - we were so impressed. We will be back - thank you Ray!

We had a wonderful, relaxing 8 night stay in this classic cottage on a stunning part of Georgian Bay. The cottage was spacious and was equipped with everything we needed. The wraparound deck offered incredible views of smooth rock islands, open water, and gorgeous sunsets. The property, located on a point, was larger than we expected and offered lots of space for lawn games like Bocce Ball. Swimming off the dock was excellent, and the area was perfect for paddling by SUP or kayak. We had our own boat and the fishing did not disappoint! Overall, a fantastic stay supported by a responsive and helpful host. We didn’t want to leave!

Great place for a weekend getaway! Honey Harbour was only 1.5 hours away and a 6 minute boat ride from the Marina. The place looked exactly like the photo’s and Ming was excellent to deal with. Great area for boating around, fishing, etc. with a near by restaurant you can dock at. Thanks again, we’ll see you again next year!

This place is awesome. Cottage was clean and well equipped with anything you need. Even with some storms on shore we barely got 20 min of rain the whole stay. The sandbars in mitchels bay are unreal to spend the day at. Water was 83 degrees and Crystal clean! Fishing and kayaking are great. Short boat ride to go for dinner in town, or cook at home with the bbq or over the fire. Nick was excellent to communicate with and did everything to ensure we had a great time. We spoke several times over the phone to make the weekend go off without a hitch! We will definitely be back next year.

We really enjoyed our time here. The cottage is super easy to get to, it's got a great layout and it's very rare to have the amount of space on the waterfront that they do. We were able to take our son onto the little beach and let him play, or just lounge on the dock, or jump from the rocks. Great spot within 2 hours from Toronto.

Absolutely fantastic, we hope to return to Red Pine Island in the future! We loved the island and the cabin. Paul was a fantastic host who is extremely responsive and proactive in reaching out with advice and tips on how to best enjoy the area and catch fish. The cabin is stunning. The new docks were great and easy to park multiple boats. The fire pit area looks to the west for incredible views of the sunset. The amenities were great and as described. We also really appreciated the firewood and kindling, which there was plenty of, and the chest freezer for freezing our fish to take home. The kayaks were a bit hit and we also had a blast jumping off the big rock on the north side of the island. This place is 10/10 and we can't recommend it highly enough.

Our stay at Benjamin’s private island cottage on Charleston Lake was fantastic! The island was stunning, and the provided water activities equipment was a great bonus. We loved exploring the lake, swimming, and enjoying cozy fires each night. Benjamin’s hospitality made our family getaway truly memorable. Highly recommend!

We had never been to this area of Ontario before and always wanted to. Finding this location on the Bay met our requirements for cozy, rugged beautiful surroundings and some fishing. This location is a must visit if you are wanting a peaceful time away. Word of caution, if you are trying to get here on your own an electronic navigation device with charts is a must. I used my phone and the navionics app and we also had a good device on the boat so it was a breeze for us getting in and finding the island even with some misty rain on the way in. Sitting on the west side of the island looking down into west bay at the sunset with a drink was a highlight. Also catching a 20 pound pike was another highlight. Really appreciate this place meeting expectations. Plan on returning next fall for a similar adventure.

We had an amazing 2 night stay at cottage no.3 The cottage was well equipped. It was cosy, quaint and peaceful. The island was beautiful, our cottage sat right at the edge of the water with the most perfect private deck. Use of canoes and paddle boats! We paddled all the way around the island, it was a pure delight! Lorn and Diana are wonderful hosts, a big thank you to them for providing this perfect little piece of paradise Can’t say enough good things about it all, we made the best memories here ❤️

Our stay with Diana and Lorn was even better than what we expected. The location was beautiful with multiple docs and decks to soak in the view from every angle, the cottage itself was right on the water supplied with everything you could need (and quite adorable!), and as hosts, they were so accommodating and responsive. The little coffee shop they have on the island for guests and other cottagers really shows their love for bringing people together. We look forward to going back…every year!

The place is so Beautiful and peaceful woodland island ! The lake access, beach, number of rooms, cleanliness of the home, Laureen made us feel like at home. She friendly and quick to reply to any questions we had. I can honestly to say I will definitely recommend any one going to kenora,Ontario(coney island) to check out this location. Overall, way exceeded my expectations.

Another Great stay at Lisa’s! We were here 4 years ago with our puppy, who’s no longer a pup! He loved it, we loved it! Gorgeous place, perfect weather, very comfy main bed! Lisa is awesome! We didn’t want to leave! Hope to be back again soon! ❤️

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Bucktooth Island! Debra and Pat's hospitality was top-notch. We spent an unforgettable long weekend swimming, BBQing, exploring, and relaxing in their picturesque cabins. The surroundings were breathtakingly beautiful, and the rustic cabins themselves were cozy and comfortable. What truly impressed us, however, was Debra and Pat's exceptional responsiveness. When we raised a concern, they promptly addressed it, ensuring our stay was seamless and enjoyable. We wholeheartedly recommend Bucktooth Island to anyone seeking a unique and eventful getaway. You won't be disappointed! Debra and Pat's warmth and dedication to their guests' experience shine through in every aspect of their hosting.

This is the second time we've had the pleasure of staying at Suzie and Jerry's place. It's a gorgeous spot, and the accommodations are topnotch (for one, I got home and realized I need to buy a new bed, since mine is not nearly as comfortable as theirs ;) Plus Suzie and Jerry are wonderful hosts – helpful, cheerful, and always available, while giving you the utmost privacy to do your own thing. It's a little ways away from the County proper, but really not that far! And spending time at the Mill is a treat all on its own. We spent plenty of time in the County, and were always happy to arrive back "home."
