We stayed one night, as we were setting off on a cycle the following day. It was the perfect location and very comfortable.

An amazing space, just 15 minute walk from Fukuyama station as well as many local restaurants. The place was very clean with a nice living space.

浅草屋-san's house is a beautiful piece of history in charming Onomichi. You can tell great care as been taken to preserve this traditional house while also adding enough modern comforts for a traveler looking for a peaceful place to unwind. It even includes a piano which is an amenity I did not realize I needed! His cleaning staff was also very kind and helpful when we dropped our luggage off before check-in so we could get started on exploring the town. There is a bit of a steep walk from the road to access the house but when you don't have luggage it's not so bad. There are enough taxis on the road to flag down if you don't want to walk all the way into town, but the walk is still very doable. There is also a great, spacious yard that I wish we used more, and also offers a great view. When I was admiring some of the trinkets inside the home, 浅草屋-san was also kind enough to offer shop recommendations in the region where I could find something similar, and he was very responsive!

広い芝生のドッグラン、ピザ窯、バーベキュー、どれも楽しめました♪ 庭にも冷蔵庫があったので、バーベキューの時の食材や飲み物をいちいち中に取りに行かなくても良かったのが便利でした。 浴室、洗面も綺麗でなにより素晴らしい水圧でした。 高見山展望台からの夕陽も美しく、歩いて海岸まで散歩もできて良かったです。 ホストの方もとても親切で、地元のおすすめスポットも教えて頂きました。 機会があれば是非また利用したいと思います！

Great host that set up a beautiful place for us to stay! Very thoughtful, from toiletries to clean kimonos. Facilities were clean and the location was private and serene. The mini hike up to the inn was fun and rewarding, and the scenes at sunset were gorgeous. One of our favorite stays during our time in Japan!

히로시마 여행중에 두번째 숙소로 머물렀는데 히로시마시내에서 출발해 시골마을에 위치해있어서 이동하는길이 꽤 멀었지만 너무나 친절하고 깔끔한 숙소에 반했습니다♡ 가는길에 교통상황으로 많이 늦어진 체크인 시간에도 밖에나와서 기다려주신 호스트님의 배려 감동받았습니다 오미시마섬을 또 한번 가보고싶다는 생각이 들정도로 1박은 너무짧고 아쉬웠어요! 다음번에 여유롭게 다시 만나기를 기대합니다😉😉 빠듯한 일정탓에 야자수도 있고 푸른바다가있는 아름다운 섬을 제대로 즐기지 못했어요ㅠㅠ 다시한번 꼭 갈게요!!!

田舎の親戚宅に遊びに来たような気持ちになりました。お部屋も清潔で、小さい子が遊ぶおもちゃも沢山あり、家族みんな楽しい時間を過ごせました。 ホストさんの親しみやすさが心地よく、また来たいと思える素敵なお宿でした！

I arranged to stay here with a group of close friends as we were cycling the Shimanami Kaido, and were all blown away by this stunningly beautiful and incredibly well equipped home. Everyone wished we'd had more time to spend here relaxing. The fridge came full of drinks and suggestions of mixes which we enjoyed. Having frozen local lemons to use as ice was enhanced everything. We'd arranged for the BBQ dinner, which was a delicious feast we devoured after a day of cycling. We were also left an extra gift of excellent oranges and orange daifuku. Sitting in the yard in the morning, looking at the clear blue inland sea made it hard to leave. I really want to come back here to see the whole island in lemon season. This is really a magical home and location. ありがとうございます

Kleine, aber sehr schöne Unterkunft. Alles Wirkt ziemlich neu und ist sehr sauber. Wir haben uns absolut wohl gefühlt. Die Entfernung zum Bahnhof ist gut.

目の前に駐車場があり、とても便利でした。尾道の観光名所へも歩いて行けて、立地が良かったです。部屋は清潔で快適に過ごせましたし、チェックインの方法も分かりやすく、とても心地よい滞在になりました。また尾道に来る時は利用したいです。

Our host was super responsive and helpful at all times. We had to make a last minute change to our booking and he was incredibly accommodating and kind. The place itself is the perfect spot for a stay in Onomichi. We were super close to the bike rental and starting point for the big cycle so it was super convenient. The host had clearly thought about what would help guests feel comfortable in his place, and we were grateful to have everything we needed. I’d highly recommend!

駅から徒歩圏内で、周りには美味しい飲食店や商店街もたくさんあり、とても便利な立地でした。 メッセージの返信も早く、安心して宿泊することができました。

Great location, nice and quiet neighborhood. Walls seems substantial as I never heard any of the other rooms! Great cycling base.

Great place to stay in beautiful Onomichi, close to the train station, restaurants and waterfront. Close to a big supermarket and good bakery and the sea. The new building has three floors. We stayed on the ground floor which I recommend. The apartment is Newham, and has a big bathroom. The bed is comfortable. The place is big enough for two people staying, and well heated in December.

大変快適に過ごせました。
