Our modern home is 15 minutes from Taupō yet feels like a private hideaway. Quiet and secluded, it looks out to Lake Taupō and Mount Ruapehu, with stunning sunsets. Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided (sorry guests keep taking them and it’s to hard to constantly replace).

Lochside retreat

Located just a 5-minute walk to the lake in the heart of Kinloch Village. An inviting fireplace offers cozy warmth on chilly evenings. A King-sized bed with crisp linens and plush pillows awaits. Two Sliding doors open to a private deck (can be enclosed) with a kitchen (hotplate, pot, frypan, coffee machine, tea, and milk in a small fridge), fireplace, private bathroom, and a stunning view from the outdoor bath and shower (hot water). Note: We have bees in close proximity :)

This cozy cottage offers beautiful views! With a covered outdoor area with bifold windows, you will be able to enjoy them at any time. Wairere Cottage is the perfect place to stay before or after biking the Timber Trail. Situated 2 ks down a private driveway off SH4. Wairere Cottage sits peacefully on our working sheep & beef farm. 5 mins to Ongarue village, 40 mins drive to TeKuiti, 20 mins to Taumarunui. Makes it an ideal base to go off mountain biking(Timber trail), walking, railcarts, jetboating, golfing all in Taumarunui. With Skiing at Mt Ruapehu. Stunning night sky ( Weather permitting)

We are about 35 minutes from Mt. Ruapehu and Whakapapa ski village. We are located about 4 Ks from Taumarunui town which has a supermarket, restaurants and other places of interest. please note: microwave only for heating food
