Youʻre sure to see plenty of wildlife throughout your stay while being close to the action, just 8.7 miles from town.

Our goal is rest and renewal for our guests so they return home ready to serve others and encouraged to spend regular time in prayer and God's Word. Relaxing is also a part of renewal so on-site activities and the surrounding communities offer plenty of recreation and tourism opportunities. Marmutt Woods is a place to step out of daily distractions to relax and refocus. Even if you are here primarily for some other reason, we hope you'll take advantage of the quiet time and provided materials.

This family-size, fully-enclosed suite with a separate entrance from the host's attached house offers all the comforts of home within 15 min. of Minocqua, Rhinelander, and premier outdoor experiences- hiking, biking, fishing, boating. Inside find bright spaces, full log beams, and a hobbiton feel; open concept living area with fully stocked kitchen, table, bunk beds, large couch, TV and Wi-Fi; bedroom with queen bed and stowed air mattress; full bath; play room. The entire suite space is yours.

Enjoy your morning coffee in the sunroom or in front of the fireplace from the coffee bar. Curl up on the basement couch for movie night on a 60" flat screen tv with our high-speed Wifi. A new dock to tie it up for the evening on those summer stays, and drive out (at own risk) on the ice for those winter months.

Kayakers and canoers can explore nearby lakes and waterways. Guests can explore Oneida County’s vast lakes and winter enthusiasts will find easy access to great trails for snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. The cottage is located on 235 acres with two spring-fed lakes.
