Experience healing and peace with the sound of gentle waves on Discovery Bay. Our cabin was built in 1939 by our grandfather who was an early businessman in Port Townsend. He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Explore the unbelievable beauty of the Olympic National Park just a few miles away featuring hiking to rainforests, glaciers, and mountain lakes.

West coast rugged beachfront cabin with easy beach access. 45 minutes from the city. Plenty of kitesurfing, mountain biking, close excellent surfing (Jordon River) and hiking areas. ( west coast trail, Juan de fuca marine trail). Local whale watching area. Winter storm watching or simply reading a book by the fire. A lovely spot for two after a long day of activities. You’ll enjoy quiet sunsets, perhaps the odd storm, relax and recharge.

Hot Tub Relaxation/Fast WiFi /Private Parking&Gate

HIGHLIGHTS: Kindly read the entire description, especially the sections under “Your Property and Other Details to Note”, before booking. 📌Newly installed HOT TUB is shared by Sol Duc cottage. Remember to bring your own footwear if you plan to use the hot tub. Slippers are not to be used inside the hot tub. It should be worn on your way to the hot tub area, but not inside the hot tub. 📌Complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks are provided.

Located in Jordan River you hit the sweet spot with this newly built cabin specially designed for the location to maximize outdoor space, expansive ocean views and privacy. Some things you’ll love about this little gem are the large cedar sun deck, wood burning stove and stargazing (or ocean gazing!) from the cedar hot tub for two. After a day of adventuring you can also curl up and enjoy a movie in the TV zone upstairs.
