Stayed here for a week and felt right at home. I loved cooking breakfast on the restored vintage stove. There are many places to get farm eggs around town. Plus good food, coffee, bar, and grocery options a short drive away. I highly recommend taking some walks in the Byron Forest Preserve. Jarrett Prairie Center has a lot of great info on this area and why it's so special to Illinois! The sunsets from this house are also incredible.

We enjoyed our stay and were extremely happy with everything that this home had to offer. It allowed all of us the space we desired. The kitchen was completely stocked with anything imaginable!! Thank you again for providing us a perfect stay away from our home during our work hours!!

Absolutely beautiful home! The river in the winter was so beautiful. The bed linens were so comfortable! Close to castle rock park and a beautiful drive. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

My husband and I love the town of Oregon and had such a restful stay at this home. The hosts accurately described everything and made my dog feel at home also.

Great little house if you need a place to stay! The hot tub is a big plus! Lucie is also a great host and very responsive to any question you have.

All good .. but no dishwasher soap.. so bought some and left it.. may want to keep track

Wonderful setting for our girls group celebrating 60 years of friendship. Plenty of space for time together or to have our own quiet time.

Julie’s place was the perfect spot for our family to stay while visiting with family in the area. Well stocked, comfortable beds and a wonderful little house. Julie was very friendly and helpful! If we need a place in Rochelle again, this will be it!

We very much enjoyed our family gathering at Jeff’s place. Especially the spacious kitchen that doubles as a living room, but also the comfortable living room to watch TV and play games. It has a charming rustic feel. The setting in the woods but near town was beautiful and we plan to stay there again for future trips to Oregon.
