We are a predominantly Spanish-speaking community. You can purchase fresh Tamales, Pupusas, etc from our street vendors. We are next to an elementary school on a semi-busy street. Redwood Sanctuary is located in the idyllic Oakland Hills with beautiful vistas, hikes, and parks within a short drive. The home is situated on half an acre of land in the middle of redwood, eucalyptus, and oak trees secluded away from other homes. Montclair village is an 8 minute drive, providing lots of great food and shops. Minutes from Highway 13 and 580. It is a 1 bedroom studio with a queen bed and a pull out sofa bed. It can comfortably accommodate up to 3. We'd love to host your stay!

Little Yellow Door is a 1 bedroom apartment with a full kitchen on the lower level of our home in the Oakland hills. It's very cozy, has a completely private entrance, and is pet friendly! Lots of plants, antiques and art. You can enjoy morning coffee from the deck while looking out at the Bay! This is an older house- you will hear us and our pets walking around upstairs. Kids are always welcome but the space may not be ideal. **Two flights of stairs to get to the apt** Easy street parking!

Great space for a lovely trip to the Bay Area! Located in a very safe & quiet neighborhood of Alameda. The cottage has a private bathroom with shower (no tub), a kitchenette with microwave, and the most comfortable queen bed. Close to Oakland Coliseum, BART, SF, Oakland Airport, and ferry to SF. Great access to Bay Farm Trail and just a short walk to restaurants and shopping. ** Please note that the bed is against the wall, so if you are a group of two, one person will be against the wall.

This cozy studio is a comfortable, clean, and private space with a bathroom, kitchenette, and off-street parking. The space has a memory foam king-sized bed, comfortable lounging chair, and eat/work area. Please note that there is a steep step down to access the space. The studio is an affordable and convenient option for folks comfortable staying in a dense, working-class urban neighborhood. We are walking distance to the Fruitvale Bart station, excellent local eats, and grocery stores.

Fully-equipped studio apartment in Alameda victorian home. Spacious, with modern amenities (WiFi, Netflix), free coffee and tea, queen-size bed, and big yard, shared with the main house. Separate entrance through the backyard. Young kids live in the upstairs house part-time (see “other notes”) and can be loud until 9:30pm. We’re a dog-friendly space and love hosting pups (maximum of 2, house trained)! Please note that we’re not able to accommodate cats at this time. Lab lives in property.
