Excellent stay. The detailed and informative guide book was very helpful. The place is very nice and quite spacious compared to other places we stayed in during our trip to Japan. Would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Mt.Fuji area!

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The view from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking, overlooking the sea—it’s the perfect spot to relax. The living room is very spacious and comfortable, with a great TV for entertainment. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need, including a washing machine, which was super convenient. Parking is available right next to the house, which made things even easier. One thing to note: if you’re taller than 1.80m (5’11”), be mindful of the low door frames—it’s more suited for shorter individuals. However, this was a small detail compared to the overall experience. The balcony and the sea view truly made this stay unforgettable. Highly recommended!

今回、長期滞在で利用させていただきました。宿泊施設内は清潔で整理整頓されており、生活に必要な家電やアイテムがすべて揃っていたため、非常に快適に過ごすことができました。 オーナーの佐藤さんはとても親切で、問い合わせにも迅速に対応していただきました。 また、宿泊施設は駅から非常に近く便利で、徒歩圏内にコンビニ、パン屋さん、コーヒー店、さまざまな飲食店が揃っているため、困ることは一切ありませんでした。 次回、一時帰国の際にもぜひ利用させていただきたいと思います。ありがとうございました。

We had a wonderful stay at Mitsuko’s house, and the view on the sea was amazing! The house is comfortable to stay for longer periods, with more than enough cooking utensils, cutlery and plates and cups for cooking. Definitely visit the local hotspring, and Manyo park in Yugawara for a relaxed day out. There are also some local busses for commuting to the nearest supermarkets.

Loved staying here with my family. The place is secluded and private and feels like you’re in a small village surrounded by greenery. But you walk ten minutes along the boardwalk and you’re at beautiful Ohama beach. The perfect beach long weekend. Can’t wait to come back.

Wow! You must book this place if you are looking to stay in an area that isn’t far from a day trip to Mt Fuji. Not only that but you get your own house and space. Washing machine and dryer came in so handy for washing clothes throughout our stay. The place was so quiet, and clean. Kenjiro allowed us a space to park our rental car which was very helpful and also we could check our bags in early. Very accomodating. Also the beach is a 2 minute walk which was an amazing view and great for morning walks. I know we will be reminiscing on our stay here and in Odawara for years to come, great place.

The Host was super friendly, meet us and open the doors for us on the check in date. She carefully explained the house. The house was super beautiful and everything was great. My husband and I love the stay so much and will definitely come back again. Thank you for the great hospitality.

We had an amazing stay at Chiharu's home. It was very clean and spacious, and they were so very friendly. It's not too far from the train station so it was a convenient place for us to stay. We would 100% stay here again.

Great stay! Strong internet/ WiFi. Close to downtown. Free bike use. Easy checkin, good communication l, and clean apartment. I stayed to go surfing nearby and they had parking available for my car.

Very good place to stay! The beach is just a short 5 minute walk which we very much enjoyed. The view from the balcony is great. Not a whole lot of places to eat nearby but there is a full kitchen to cook with. We also stayed during typhoon and host was very responsive and let us stay an extra day as the trains were suspended.

I booked in the late winter so the greenery wasn't quite as verdant as the photo, but that's understandable. The condo with tatami sleeping area comes well-equipped with a very nice bathroom, kitchen, and sit-down outdoor gas grill on the patio for DIY teppanyaki. Note that access from the bus from Shimoda (which runs every hour or two) is best using the 2nd driveway (it has big "BBQ ⇧" painted on it); also there is currently a 9:24AM bus back which worked out great for the 10:15 Odoriko express back to Kanagawa-ken. I didn't try the adjacent BBQ restaurant with "Taco Cabana" (sounded great) but hope to the next time I get back to this very scenic part of Japan.

３世代５人で宿泊しました。スタッフの方々がフレンドリーかつ柔軟、思いやりがあり、でも過剰さがない洗練されたバランスで、高齢の両親も、子どもたちも、初めからとてもリラックスして楽しむことができました。レストラン＆カフェがある１階から階段を上り、２階が２室の宿になっています。部屋は広々とした空間で、シンプルでモダン、寝具やアメニティーは、使い心地と環境への配慮を感じました。部屋から全面ガラスのオーシャンビューが広がり、バルコニーではソファに寝転んで夜風と虫の声、海の音を聞きながら星を眺め、ゆったりと贅沢な時間を過ごすことができました。キッチン周りは必要かつ十分に整い、食材や調味料を持ち込んで料理できます。ナイフ類も頼めば借りられるかもしれません。砂浜で夜、朝と静かに散歩ができ、目の前から出る水上バスで、清水の中心市街地もすぐでした。１階のレストランもいい雰囲気で、マリーンスポーツも楽しそうでした。次は利用してみたいと思います。

まさに非日常でした。次は連泊しようと思います。
