I can only echo all the positive comments from previous reviewers. Wendy was a delightful host, friendly and conscious of my needs but not intrusive. We had some lovely conversations. The bedroom was quiet, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. I had my own bathroom; again spotless. There was good choice for breakfast and all was freshly and beautifully cooked - perfect eggs! Many thanks Wendy. I will look forward to a return visit at some point.

Although I didn’t end up staying at this property, I want to highlight how kind and helpful Maddison was. When my accommodation needs changed at the last minute—after I had already checked in—she went out of her way to assist me and ensure everything was handled smoothly. I really appreciated her understanding and support. The area is quiet and peaceful, and being able to park right in front of the property with a permit is a big advantage. My suitcase was very heavy, so getting it upstairs was a bit of a struggle, and it’s worth noting that the shared bathroom is located on the ground floor. The room itself was absolutely gorgeous! Breakfast is included, and Maddison even asked what I’d like beforehand and bought me a special yoghurt. She also offered to have her housekeeper do my laundry. This host truly goes out of her way for her guests!

Our group had an amazing time at this accomodation. All the rooms are very spacious. The little additional touches Fin provided with the little gifts, kitchen products etc. Location wise the place was perfect, close enough to shops to pick up some basics, close to bus routes and only a short taxi in and out of town. Thankfully the weather was really nice also which meant we were able to spend sometime outside in the very spacious garden. Fin was also very responsive on the chat function both prior and during the booking. Thanks is again Fin for letting us stay and should we ever be back in Nottingham we will be sure to rebook..

An ideal place to stay with cheap transportation into the centre. Hosts were great and communication and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place. Beds were comfy and the place was clean

Great stay with Heather and Andy. Really friendly welcome and everything was great. Really fresh and clean and felt very private with own room and bathroom. Lots of thoughtful touches with the kitchenette and breakfast and WiFi chargers. Very handy for the football and cricket and the city and really nice area. Highly recommend.

Lovely house in a good location. Very clean with a great lounge, also comfortable and nice sized rooms. Jasmine was really helpful and easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay again!

Bobbi was so helpful for us; nothing was too much trouble. My wife and I can recommend staying there, Bobbi will look after you.

We had 2 nights at Butler’s Retreat. Really good and top quality accommodation. Exactly as it shows on the photos and description. Sir Richard was very helpful and responsive in every way. We had amazing weather for February and took a lovely circular 2 hour walk from the property and enjoyed the tearoom lunch at the end.

Joy was lovely! We enjoyed our stay absolutely beautiful and the area was really nice and rural, everything you need for a few days, would definitely return. Thank you for hosting us 😊

We loved our stay at Kate's apartment. Firstly, Kate is a fantastic host and communication was spot on prior to our visit. The apartment is well looked after, spotlessly clean and maintained to a high standard. Everything has been well thought out and you will absolutely 100% have everything you need for your stay. We loved that the apartment had a 'home from home' feel to it; our 3 year old and 19 month daughters loved exploring (it's a bit of a tardis with plenty of space!) and really appreciated the toys that were there. The local area is ideal for exploring all that the peak district has to offer. Highly recommend trips to Thornbridge Estate and hiring bikes along the Monsal trail. If you want to stay in and cook then it's no problem as the apartment has everything you need however you won't go far wrong if you decide to eat at Toll Bar Chippy (about a minutes stroll down the hill) or Stella's Kitchen located not far from Eyam. Overall, highly recommended. Would love to return.

Great place to stay - I was looking for a quiet place and this fit the bill. Things are clean, and cozy. Andrew is very responsive which I appreciated.

Lynn & Gavin were great hosts — very friendly and accommodating! They were so kind to lend us an excellent hiking map and provide us with walking directions upon arrival. The breakfast was great! Their property is located very close to cute Tissington village and the walking trail. If you are looking for a quiet, remote getaway — this is your spot! :)

David and Justine are extremely kind and accommodating. The homemade breakfast items and fruit are a treat every morning! Special diets are taken into account and the hosts aim to make your stay special and comfortable. I was given directions for a lovely walk in the hills which I thoroughly enjoyed. I appreciated the electric blanket and space heater to take the chill off when needed. Shops for food and restaurants are a very short walk down the road.

5* Bed and Breakfast We're so glad to have found this place to spend 4 wonderful nights. We just wish we could have stayed for longer. Karen and Chris were warm and welcoming from the very beginning and took care in showing us around the property which is beautiful inside and out. The room was stunning and had everything you could ever need and the soft and plump furnishings didnt go amiss. Everything was perfect! After a long day of hiking we were able come back to an amazing power shower, a large cosy bed and relax for the night in the nice fluffy robes that were on offer. We were always welcomed with big smiles first thing in the morning and set up for the day ahead with a delicious breakfast. Karen and Chris were always so attentive and friendly which made us feel so relaxed and comfortable. We loved our morning chats with Karen, it felt like we had known her for years. We've found a little peace of paradise and we can't wait to visit again x

Maywalk House provided everything we needed and more for our walking break in the Peak District, including a comfy bed, luxurious bathroom and a hearty breakfast cooked by Felicity to kick start each day. It's only 10 minutes' walk from the Miners Arms in Eyam village, which serves good evening meals. Felicity is a great host, friendly and welcoming but at the same time unobtrusive. We'd thoroughly recommend Maywalk House Airbnb.

Another great stay at Steve and Sally's Airbnb situated in a lovely village......plentiful breakfast, comfortable bed, spotlessly clean and attention to detail exceptional 👌

We had a lovely one night stay at The Stables whilst visiting for a wedding. Very clean and everything was very comfy. Breakfast in the morning was lovely and Angela was very accommodating!

Mark was a great host and we got on like a house on fire. Perfect position, lovely and clean and with great breakfasts. Will definitely recommend it.

The cottage was very clean, very cute, and well placed - Chatsworth House is highly recommended, but definitely go early and stay all day because it's huge! It was a very comfortable and homey stay, and the fresh eggs, bread, and milk provided were all delicious and very welcomed. Ed and his family were all very friendly and we'll absolutely be back!
