We had an amazing time at Rio's place. The Milk Barn was cozy, charming, comfortable and had all that was needed. Eating or just sitting outside in the peaceful surrounding was lovely. We loved seeing all the different birds, rabbits, turtles, snake, slugs.. and the hosts' dogs and chickens. The most magical part for us though was paddling down the creek- discovering small wonders, following a heron, and sitting still on the water while all these swallows swooped around so low and close to us, singing or calling to each other... We look forward to returning to explore more of the area/ Mohonk, Minnewaska Parks too. Rio and Toby were the best hosts, gracious, generous, welcoming and helpful. Thank you!

This was absolutely perfect for our needs. The location was central to Salem, Gloucester, and not too far from Boston. Very close to wonderful local restaurants and Marla was very attentive to our requests.

This is our fifth year coming to the farm. Larissa is absolutely masterful with kids of all ages (even tough kids). My daughter races out at 9 am to do farm chores and begs for more (and this is a kid who drags her feet doing chores at home)!! We love the rhythm of farm and find it really easy to disconnect and unwind. After chores in the morning, you're welcome to spend as much time as you want with the animals, which is a real treat. Whether it's feeding the horses hay, sharing food scraps with the goats, or watching the chickens do their evening routine, there's so much to enjoy. The local towns are lovely, but if you like the farm experience, you may never leave the property. Larissa is incredibly knowledgeable and generous in sharing her experience and expertise. She has created an absolutely magical environment, and I would highly recommend visiting!!

You know it’s a lovely space when we come multiple years to stay! Amy is the nicest- a fantastic host with great recommendations for the area. The apartment is clean and spacious and full of rustic charm. Our kids adored the ducks they have on the property and the yard is wonderfully inviting! Can’t wait to come back next year 😃

This was our first time at the Barn. There were 8 of us. We had plenty of room. Plenty of parking. MaryBeth and Doug are extremely friendly. We enjoyed hearing about the history of the Barn. Will definitely book there again next year.

We recently enjoyed a lovely stay at The Carriage Barn in Guilford. Our host, Katherine, was very responsive to everything we might have needed during our visit: a very easy check in and out process, detailed instructions on how everything worked, items for our comfort (a gift of delicious chocolates, many fluffy towels, silky sheets, etc.), and was easily available via texting. The photos of her restored historic barn are very accurate - it's a beautifully designed renovation and is decorated with lovely art pieces, cozy furniture, and a huge library of books for your enjoyment. The tv works great and so does the WiFii. We traveled with our small dog and there is a baby gate available that easily snaps onto the staircase posts so I was not concerned about my dog's safety.. Best of all is the beautiful views of the gorgeous Vermont countryside. You'll see lovely sunsets here and spectacular sunrises. It's a great spot to truly relax.

Highly recommended for families with older children due to stairs and limited outdoor space for small children to run around. Perfect for my teens and I. We loved the sitting area and sleeping arrangements.

Loved our stay! It was exactly as advertised. Linnea did a great job making the place comfortable, the farm/antique touches were all well thought out and made for a great atmosphere, and she left us some really nice local coffee. Highly recommend!!!

This was our fifth stay at Kayla’s carriage house and, as always, it was a five-plus ⭐️ experience! We always look forward to spending time here (whether it’s a trip to just rest and relax or whether it’s a trip where we’re on the go most of the time), and the carriage house never disappoints. It is the calmest, most peaceful environment imaginable, and the stress just seems to melt away the minute we walk in the door. Kayla and Fanny Lynn have thought of everything to make the stay comfortable and memorable, and they are incredibly kind and considerate hosts. We absolutely recommend it, and we can’t wait to return!

Great experience! 2 wineries within 1 mile. Close to great hiking. William, was very accommodating with check in & check out time. Would highly recommend staying here. Very cute , clean and comfortable with get amenities.

I stayed at Patty and Brian’s place for a work trip, and I can honestly say it’s the gold standard for Airbnb hosting. My colleagues and I are fighting over who gets to book it next because it is that exceptional. The property itself is a charming red barn nestled on beautifully maintained grounds. Inside, every detail has been thoughtfully considered. The furnishings are tasteful and cozy, with well-coordinated textures, patterns, and colors throughout—from the rugs and pillows to the window coverings. The space was spotless without a speck of dust in sight, and even the scent was perfect, thanks to subtle diffuser sticks that were not overpowering like air fresheners. I also appreciated the generous beverage offerings, including coffee, tea, and wine (which I sadly didn’t have time to enjoy). The towels and linens were luxurious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I have absolutely no notes—except to suggest that other hosts take a page from Patty and Brian’s book.

Went with my friend and we found the place very comfortable. The kitchen is very nicely stocked! We brought food so that we could prepare most meals and the kitchen had more than we could ever need by way of kitchen gear! There was also a full stash of coffee, cream, honey and sugar! The location is great. We went to the White's Ferry Brewery that was just down the street and thoroughly enjoyed it! I would strongly recommend a visit. We also walked around the neighborhood to include down to the Potomac! Very nice! We took a day trip to Harper's Ferry (45-min drive) and of course to the little downtown area of Leesburg (7-min drive)! Rita was super responsive and brough us batteries quickly when requested for the remote and a container of eggs from the chickens! The beds are comfortable. I did sleep on the sleeper sofa and while it isn't a typical bed, it was fairly comfortable. Having the animals just below us was really sweet! Loved them all! Enjoyed our visit very much!

Our family was absolutely blown away with the premises. I loved there was clear instructions everywhere. The game room, the board games, the beds and pillows, the outside activities were all supreme. I wish we would have had more time at the location. 100% would stay and recommend to anyone. The host was the most responsive of all my airbnb hosts.

The house was beautiful. we had 5 friends staying there and each had their own bedroom and private bath, with spacious common areas inside and out. It was perfect. Gideon and Ahna were helpful and responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

My boyfriend and I went on a road trip to Niagara Falls, and this was our favorite stay along the way! The airbnb was warm, cozy and just as pictured, while the instructions to get in from Barb were also clear. We were able to cook and comfortably watch TV from bed. We were encouraged to come visit the goats in the morning before leaving, and it was truly the cherry on top to see them and pet the barn cats before making our way on the road. We felt very welcomed here, and would definitely come again!

Our family absolutely loved this charming barn as a quiet getaway. The hot tub was very clean and worked well. The views, the birds, the firepit, it was all so peaceful. It has everything you need for a comfortable weekend away from home.

Diane and Joe’s place worked really well for our family’s visit to Portland for the Hearts of Pine home opener! The place was nicely decorated, very clean, and well stocked. We felt very much at home. Communication was helpful and clear. We would happily stay there again.

Fantastic space for a large group. We had 10 people for a New Year’s Eve ski weekend, and this was the ideal spot for it. Hot tub was a great treat. Be warned - the floors are squeaky, so if you’re a light sleeper in a large group bring ear plugs.

This Bnb was fantastic! First off, Kristie did a great job of explaining everything we needed to know about the place. She was extremely responsive and helpful the entire process. She was even nice enough to let us check in a little early which was appreciated. The space itself was spotless and had all of the amenities you’d want in a bnb. After a long day of snowboarding, it was the perfect place to rest our bones by the fire and relax. The location itself was prime and setback enough to provide some nice privacy. Highly recommend to anyone saying in Eville. We’ll be back!

I was close to the area, decided to extend my weekend and did a last minute booking with Emily who was very accommodating! Her place was clean and I loved the decor and furniture. The kitchen is gorgeous and the counter tops made cooking easy with plenty of space for me to feel comfortable. Thank you for sharing, we loved it!

Excellent spot to stay in for any type of visit to Acadia. My friends and I stayed here to bike around the carriage roads. Jane and Paul provided maps, bikes, and plenty of recommendations for trails and food. The home itself is gorgeous and inviting. We can't wait to come back!

It’s a rare thing when your AirBNB is even more beautiful and comfortable than it looks in the listing photos. We felt right at home in Amanda’s space. Everything was lovely; well appointed and artfully designed. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the farm animals, truly a delight for our kiddo and for us. We visited in the winter and are excited to book again when the weather is nicer so that we can take advantage of opening the garage doors and enjoying the fresh country air to its fullest. Amanda and her staff are excellent hosts and will do all they can to make your stay memorable.

What a wonderful retreat! I can't think of a better place to stay where you're surrounded by books, art and the countryside.

Wonderful spot in Cold Spring! Very near the town center, trains, and lots of hiking trails in the area, but private and tucked away. Was a perfect spot for a group of 6. Highly recommend.
