Awesome place! The most insane and beautiful neighborhood ever. We consider this more of a home than our real home in California. Hated to leave it. Will be coming back! Book it don’t think twice about it. (He has twilight and Superbad on dvd im trembling)

One of the most spacious, best-equipped places we've stayed, easily walkable to Belmont and Hawthorne. We didn't do any cooking because of all the nearby restaurants, but if you wanted to, there was everything you could need. The apartment itself was lovely, comfortable, and clean, with lots of natural light. It felt like a house someone might live in, not your usual sterile rental or hotel room. We would definitely stay here again!

We couldn't have enjoyed our second stay any more than we did. They are such friendly and accommodating hosts. It is a very peaceful and quiet cottage. Would definitely recommend!

Awesome place! We really enjoyed our stay at Malcolm’s place. The house is beautiful and it feels like home, the TVs on every room and the living room are very convenient, the internet is great, our children really enjoyed the pool table. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Malcolm was very attentive and really easy to talk to. We had a really great time.

Adorable cottage in lovely neighborhood. Walkable to shops, restaurants, coffee, lakeside village. Very quiet and safe. Amy’s cottage had everything I needed to feel cozy and at home. Returning to the area in the fall with a plus 1 and will stay again if available!

⸻ 5 stars! We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The property was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing family getaway. The hot tub was a definite highlight for the adults — perfect for unwinding in the evenings under the stars. Our kids had an absolute blast with the trampoline, which was a great touch and kept them entertained for hours. The host was responsive and made sure we felt welcome from start to finish. Highly recommend for families looking for a fun and relaxing place to stay!

we celebrated our daughters 30th birthday there. we had 7 ladies. There is plenty of comfy beds, kitchen supplies, towels, sheets, etc. The kitchen even had some snacjs available. We loved the back yard. it is amazing and beautiful. The )n table and lic I mg food. was big enough for all of us to sit and visit. We would go back again.

Beautiful home, beautiful location! The renovations make the space modern and useable while keeping a warm, homie feel. All entertainment equipment was well stocked, clean, and maintained, but also organized and free of clutter which made the use of the space much more inviting and enjoyable. Only downfalls would be the need for more seating in the living area, cob webs need cleaning out, and minor fixes in the bathroom sink faucet and doorway…. Nothing serious but just small details to point out when you want a worry free stay. Overall a great place to stay and would definitely rebook whenever in the area!

This place was perfect for us! We traveled with a 3yr old and there was a little space just for her that she absolutely loved! There were toys and crafts for kids of all ages. There was a kitchen with everything we needed to make our own food. The hosts were so friendly and were right upstairs if we needed anything at all. We have already told our friends about the place! We can't wait to visit again.

The walk-in shower was brilliant. The first not we got in, it was very warm and the AC had not been hooked up yet, but Rebecca set the AC up the very next day. 5 star experience!

We had a wonder stay at Randy’s place in Oregon. The bed was super comfortable and everything was really clean. The property is absolutely beautiful and close to a lot of popular tourist spots. You’ve got to try out the massage chair! Would 10/10 recommend staying here.

Beautiful, relaxing, comfortable home/apt in the most stunning neighborhood! We enjoyed our afternoon walks and wish we would have stayed there the entire week we were in Portland. Just one note, if you are sensitive to light for sleep, bring an eye mask but besides that it's a 10!

My 2nd time staying. It’s a sweet little home base for when I visit Portland for trainings. Safe neighborhood with some good hiking real close!

We stayed 2 nights here to visit our son, a student at Lewis & Clark. The location of the place is perfect as it’s just a couple of minutes from the LC campus, and an easy walk as well. The place is super clean, comfy and quiet…very well equipped and has a nice outdoor space to hang out & enjoy a morning coffee or evening drink. Check in and check out was super easy with very clear instructions. Will definitely look to stay here again (if it’s available!). Thank you !

Russell's place is small but the beds are comfortable and the amenities are all that you will need. The bathroom was clean and well stocked with towels and products in case we forgot ours. The kitchen had enough food available if you were unable to grab a bite before check-in late at night. There were plenty of condiments and spices if you wanted to cook (we didn't) along with coffee to grind, a grinder and a coffee maker. The heating system is tricky but Russell provided instructions so it worked well. He also answered the phone and provided the entry code when I called. There were board games for people who wanted to stay off the grid and lots of movies available. We had a nice time and would definitely stay again.

The Quiet Place was great, it was centrally located to what we needed to do. Dee Dee was very responsive to messages, I would definitely stay again. Also, being in a basement, there was not much noise from up top, nothing out of the ordinary foot steps. Great place!

The stream out back was perfect to sit by the fire and listen to, we enjoyed the hot tub also. Also we loved that it had a lot of the things you forget like soaps and toothbrushes. It was super cozy for our girls trip and I would definitely stay here again!

Heather and Pat were terrific hosts and the property is beautiful. The river that runs by the property is amazing and you can hear it and the birds in the morning when you wake up. Great, stay, would definitely recommend to anyone.

The cabin was very beautiful. The surrounding was very nice as well. My kids really loved it and it was their favorite cabin throughout our trip.

This is the second time I've rented this spot to celebrate my birthday with some of my closest friends. We had such a nice time last year so I thought, why not return? The house was just as comfortable as I remember, we got a rare sunny spring day and enjoyed the patio to its fullest extent! A morning soak in the hot tub next to the rushing river is heavenly. The beds were comfy, there were plenty of towels and the kitchen was stocked for all of our cooking needs. This is the perfect place to relax and unwind, and it's less than an hour from the city. Maybe next year we'll be back again!

I would highly recommend this charming cottage on the river! We stayed here the week of Christmas and the hosts kindly left us an array of holiday chocolates and a variety of beverages to get us started on our stay. The house was stocked with all the necessities and the view was so serene! You feel like you're in a secluded hideaway, yet in reality you are only minutes from downtown Milwaukie and a short drive to downtown Portland. It was very conveniently located for us visiting our two sons in Milwaukie, and there was plenty of room for them to visit us and have Christmas dinner at the cottage on the river. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again!

The house was lovely with wonderful views and plenty of trees. The location of the hot tub was perfect for not only the view, but also quickly getting inside before the change of temperature (we stayed in winter). The place is great for two people with plenty of amenities and the TV/Cinema set up was outstanding. What a fun way to wrap up the evenings. Thanks for the great space and very private stay.

Melinda's story house was magical! The tree canopy creates privacy and a peaceful experience and we enjoyed listening to the birds in the morning. Melinda was kind and helpful and her story houses were so creative.

This is a lovely location amid the trees, but close to everything. it's quiet and easy to get to, but on a gravel road, so you feel like you're away from it all. it's a nicely decorated cabin with a beautiful new kitchen.
