An absolute gem of a find !! If you are looking for a peaceful, calming, private yet a twenty minute drive from anything you want or need, quality downtime , then this is your spot. The pictures gives you a hint of the breathtaking waterbody but nothing comes close to the reality. Fabulous place ! Highly recommend the host and the property !! We can’t wait to be back !

We had a fantastic stay in Cape Charles. The house was just right and spacious for the 6 of us. The outside deck area was a great spot to read, eat and listen to the birds. The home was a perfect representation of this special town. Communication with the owners was prompt and easy. We are looking forward to our next trip back!

Great spot. Secluded back yard with plenty of seating. Amenities as described in the listing. Walkable to shops and dining. Donny was very responsive when I had a few questions. I would recommend checking out this home and Cape Charles.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cape Charles for Thanksgiving. The house was perfect for having a small holiday meal; a wonderfully stocked kitchen with good knives can be hard to find! It was a comfortable home in a great location. It was perfect for walking to shops, restaurants and coffee shops. There is also great playground that the kids really enjoyed. The host was responsive to all of our questions and provided lots of recommendations for activities in the area. We look forward to booking this home again.

Cape Pearl fit our families needs perfectly and everyone was comfortable for our stay in Cape Charles. The home was very inviting and comfortable with lots of the charm that we have come to expect when staying in the historic district. Everything was as described and Kerry was responsive to the few questions that we had. Overall, a great experience and we would be lucky to stay here again!

We stayed at Breakwater Cottage with a group of teenage girls for a birthday celebration trip to Cape Charles. The house was newly updated, beautifully decorated, and clean! The extra bathrooms and showers were very helpful for our large group - there are 4 showers including the outdoor shower. The kitchen and living areas were perfect for cooking for a crowd. The town’s main street and the beach are both walkable from the house or you can rent a golf cart from one of two nearby (also walking distance) vendors. Delightful town with the perfect house for our stay and Jeff and Katie are excellent, responsive hosts.

Jimmie and Megan’s home was perfect for our 4 day stay. Instructions from check in to check out were clear and simple. The home was clean and felt like a home away from home. We would definitely stay here again.

We spent a lovely weekend here! Very comfortable home with lots of room for a group. Beautifully updated and thoughtfully restored to retain historic charm and character. I've rented more than 20 homes in Cape Charles over the past 20 years - this one is definitely in my top 5!

Beautiful and comfortable place. The beds were extremely comfortable and pillows too. My sister and I had a wonderful weekend there celebrating her birthday. The beach is 2 miles away, best to drive and not walk. Cape Charles is a wonderful little gem on the eastern shore. Thank you for such a comfortable and beautiful place to stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rick and Christi's Airbnb. The location is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful getaway, with direct access to the beautiful sandy beaches of Chesapeake Bay. Whether you’re into water activities, fishing, or just taking quiet walks around the serene neighborhood, this place has it all. One thing to note is that this spot is not for those seeking nearby restaurants or bars because there aren’t any in the vicinity—and that’s exactly what makes it so special. It’s a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Our family, including my wife and 14-year-old child, thoroughly enjoyed our time here. But what truly sets this place apart is the warm and friendly hospitality from Christi. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. A lovely touch was the fresh jalapeño pepper she gave us, which we’re still using in our meals. Thank you, Christi and Rick, for making our vacation memorable.

Very nice place to stay for our visit to Cape Charles. The spot is perfectly situated in the heart of Cape Charles on Main Street. Walkable to everything imaginable, including the beach, restaurants, bars and shops. Was happy that the unit is soundproof so could not hear anything that was going on out on Main Street. Everything was very clean immaculate and it was a super fun place to stay with the retro kitchen and oversized balcony

Charming Cape Charles getaway! I was so happy to find this gem and even more thrilled when I arrived. From the beautiful landscape of the gated community, to the southern charm of this glorious suite…I wanted for nothing. This enormous suite has all the comforts of home and the location was spectacular. The property offered not only a private beach on the bay , a community pool, a beautiful well maintained golf course, it was also a short drive to the charming town of Cape Charles. Dawn offered endless advice to her favorite restaurants, activities to do and places to see while we visited. She was just a text or call away if I needed anything. Her hospitality was beyond measure. I look forward to coming back.

Loved our second stay at seahorse. Outstanding location in town, so close to the beach and everything Cape Charles has to offer. Very comfy and cozy, love the outdoor space, great beach retreat.

We loved this place! We have stayed in Cape Charles many times and this is one of our favorite places. The beach chairs are a nice touch and the place was very clean. Plenty of space for the entire family and the master bed was extremely comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay in Cape Charles. We loved being able to just walk out the door and have lots of shops and restaurants just a few steps away. The kitchen was gorgeous and the beds were very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the outdoor deck area. What a great spot to stay in this cute town!

Super clean place; no dogs allowed, so you don't have that dingy feeling. We enjoyed the back deck, and the location is perfect for the beach, restaurants, coffee shops. There's a little nature preserve nearby, as well as Kiptopeke State Park. We brought our bikes and rode all over the town. Lots of fun.
