Beautiful home in a peaceful location! Couldn’t have asked for anything more

Sarah knows hospitality. The home was larger than I thought so there was plenty of space to check out. Things done exceptionally well: clean white towels (always a winner yet many hosts don't know this); Black makeup towels so you don't ruin the nice white towels - that was clutch; clean white bed sheets; little bathroom amenities in case you need something; CLEAN screened in porch deck (no cobwebs); uncluttered kitchen with everything we needed to make our Thanksgiving feast; large, seemingly commercial refrigerator that both my friend and I want for our own kitchens now; and lots of broadband fast wifi. Even the laundry room was neat and tidy, and with a 3rd toilet just in case... my doggy loved lounging (I bring her bed wherever we go, never allow her on human furniture) and she was comfortable in every room that held her bed.. She felt right at home which was nice. We're coming back when it's warm so we can put some floats out in the water. Great peaceful, and restful location!!!

This is a charming spot in Murfreesboro, North Carolina. As a parent of a Chowan Baseball player, I wish we had found this gem sooner. Comfortable place to stay to visit your favorite Hawk and give them a good home cooked meal. Thank you!

John & Maggie have a terrific place at the lake. From the expansive back deck to the wonderful boat dock, this beautiful house on a quiet cove has it all. Having access to the private boat ramp down the road made launching the boat a breeze and also allowed us to get the boat out easily in preparation for checkout. The neighborhood is quiet and made for great morning walks with our dogs. We will be back!

Monica’s place was beautiful, photos were not as nice as the house and the property actually were. Location was just what we were looking for private but only 5 minutes to town. We had a great time and would recommend this place to anyone.

Eduardo, We sincerely enjoyed your beautiful home. It was so peaceful, very relaxing and full of everything that anyone would need. The kitchen was fully stocked and we didn’t want for anything. We home cooked all of our meals and didn’t want to leave the house. The views of the lake are outstanding and so peaceful. Watching the morning steam rising off of the lake was mesmerizing and the sunrising were just as beautiful. Having a morning coffee on the porch watching the fish popping and rippling the water was just like a movie. We really enjoyed your beautifully decorated home. The beds were very comfortable and the ceiling fans made it great to sleep in. We will be back for Thanksgiving in less than a month!! As well as next June and we can’t wait to be back again. Exactly as it is listed. So beautiful and lots of entertainment. Helpful and quick with any questions we had! We loved everything about this trip!

The surroundings were peaceful and quiet. We felt as if we had the world to ourselves. We used the lodge as a "Basecamp" for 3 days of fishing on the Roanoke River. There are 2 NC Wildlife boat ramps just minutes away. We met our host at check-in and she gave us a wonderful tour and brief history of the lodge. She made us feel very welcome and shared local information including restaurants and food stores. We enjoyed a quiet walk each morning surrounded by the sound of turkeys, geese, and cardinals. If you want to get away from the noise, this is the place! We're already making plans to return next year.

Beautiful historic home!! Great location one block off main st easy walk to restaurants!!! Plenty of room for the whole family!!! Already booked our next stay.
